DEVELOPING: Thirteen people are dead after a gunman opened fire at an immigration center in Binghamton, N.Y.
The shooter was identified as a local resident of Asian descent named Jiverly Voong. There were conflicting reports as to whether he was 41 or 42. Local authorities told The Associated Press he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Voong blocked the back door of the building with his car, then stormed in through the front entrance while firing a high-powered gun. Several people were taken hostage.
The bloodbath killed 12 people plus the gunman, who also goes by the name of Linh Phat Voong and lived in the Binghamton suburb of Johnson City.
Voong wore a bright green nylon jacket and dark-rimmed glasses as he executed victim after victim, according to local media. His body was found on first floor with a hunting knife jammed into the waistband of his pants, the reports said.

There are many questions to be answered here. What spurred this guy, Jiverly Voong, to commit such a heinous crime? Why did he go on a rampage against a civic center, the American Civic Association? It appears that this group only serves one purpose, to help immigrants become legal citizens and learn English.
Was there a personal connection? A person or persons that Voong believed had perhaps done him a disservice? Was there a more personal perceived wrong? A love interest perhaps? Were his actions directed against the immigration process in general?
There is still a lot of confusion in the MSM, they are trying to sort out the facts, and one source is saying that Voong is of Vietnamese decent. That itself presents a reasonable question, was Voong a LEGAL citizen of the USA? Was he perhaps a disgruntled seeker of citizenship? At the moment it’s all speculation, I am sure the facts will come out in the next few days.
There is one thing that IS a certainty, the gun grabbers will try to turn this into an anti-guns rant and use it as another tool in their battle to take guns out of the hands of legal, sane and responsible Americans!
I have been ridiculed by a few for MY stance on shooting ILLEGAL INVADERS as they cross the border, nothing in this has changed my opinion of ILLEGALS. These folks were immigrants, NOT invaders, they were trying to do the right thing.
That is the part of this thing that truly makes me sick…

Glenn Beck just asked his viewers, on air, “Why do we watch the news of the Binghamton shooting?”, and the below is an exact copy of the email I sent him.
One good (I hesitate to see any good in this of course) thing about this, the guy was not a “angry white man” belonging to some fringe group as would be described by the MSM… He, it appears, was a Viet (born here or arrived at an early age?) who was just laid off at IBM….Why he picked out a building where immigrants came for help is up in the air.
You can still bet the media and Holder will use this a a “gun grab” minute… But at least they will have to check their anti-white bigotry at the door… Because this guy wasn’t.
It is unfortunate that bad economic times drive some people with psych problems, way beneath the surface, to come to the surface and show their ugly and sick mental side.
This was most likely this guy’s sick way of getting back against foreigners, even though he is one himself, where his job probably went.
If he did not use a gun, it would have been another tool, so guns, or any tool used to kill, can never be blamed as the cause.
Our traitorous representatives, and other domestic enemies to this nation, will of course use this as more evidence to support their movement to disarm us and attack our Constitutional Rights.
I couldn’t help but notice the reporter on this story went out of his/her way to report what the shooter was wearing. My guess is… the reporter was hoping for cammies.
Apparently the Socialist’s have a list they are working from with the various things they intend to do and the laws they intend to pass. If so, the only reason they have not begun beating the drum on snatching our weapons is… it hasn’t come to the top on the list… yet! But it WILL.

Just a thought? The man is an immigrant who lost his job at IBM and attacked an Immigration Center. Maybe, he’s blaming his job loss on Illegal Immigrants and wanted to strike back at them? But, unfortunately he listened to his NY political leaders and the MSM and confused Legal Immigrants with Illegal Immigrants. After all, they refer to illegal aliens as immigrants, thus lumping the law abiding immigrants in with the criminals that steal into our country.
Ya know Bob, that crossed my mind, the PC assholes don’t distinguish between illegal invaders and LEGAL immigrants that are doing it the right way and making every effort to become citizens…
So many possibilities, and the sad part is, he took the answers to the grave I am afraid, unless he left some trails on a computer, a forum, a blog, something like that…
Too sad! Another blog reported that he was an immigrant from Viet Nam, was a naturalized citizen and had been in the country for 28 years. His sister reportedly said that he had gone to the center because he was taking English lessons. Supposedly he was 41 or 42. That would have made him 13 or 14 when he got here…and he was taking English lessons….wonder what that’s all about? I have worked with several engineers that immigrated from Viet Nam, back in the 70′s. They are all citizens, speak perfect English, and are very outspoken patriots.
My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of those true immigrants who were senselessly murdered. Very sad!!

This makes as little sense as the fellow who killed all the children in the Amish school a few years ago.
Random craziness is just that. Random craziness. At least the guy offed himself so we aren’t stuck with the privilege of supporting him for the rest of his life in a public facility.
As to the MSM’s failure to distinguish between legal immigrants and illegal aliens, that should surprise no one, since they refuse to use the proper term for the illegals. The MSM has their agenda, and apparently their marching orders, so don’t expect this story to be properly reported. Nothing else is properly reported, so why should this story be?
I have every respect for people who come to this country legally, learn the language, dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s, and become American citizens. That the MSM lumps law-abiding future citizens in with criminals who sneak into our country, take advantage of our welfare system, disregard all of our laws (from car insurance on up), and bring their 3rd world culture to our country, is unbelievable. The two groups have nothing in common: law abiding people v. criminals.
Since the guy was Vietnamese instead of WASP, that should provide a bit of a challenge to the MSM’s creativity in reporting this one to end up with their desired conclusion.
And one more thing. Nobody better try to take either my camo or my guns away!
I’m surprised the headlines did not scream “U.S. CITIZEN BRANDISHING SEMI AUTOMATIC HANDGUNS, MURDERS 13 INNOCENT IMMIGRANTS IN COLD BLOOD”.
However the jerkster on abc did say almost the same thing on the morning TV show. He put a lot of emphasis on the fact that the guy had two “high caliber hand guns” that he used after blocking the back door with his car. Maybe we should rewrite all the building codes, that all entry, and exit doors, should open “IN” in anticipation of “hundreds”
more cases like this happening(sarc) instead of all exit doors need to open out in case of fire.
And if only one person at that center had been armed, the outcome could have been so much different.
Yeah, but it’s hard to arm folks that aren’t citizens, and remember WHERE this happened… New York doesn’t like guns…
