WICHITA, Kan. — DEVELOPING: Media reports say that abortion provider Dr. George Tiller has been shot and killed at his Wichita church.
Tiller has been among the few U.S. physicians performing late-term abortion. His clinic has repeatedly been the site of protests for about two decades.

Thank you keeping alive the fact that a valid birth certificate proving American citizenship is required by the Constitution before an individual can run for the office of President. Obama has not qualified in this respect. Please keep pushing this until we get him out of office.

Folks, no matter how you cut it, no matter how you rationalize it, no matter how much we ALL wanted Tiller the Killer dead and gone, it doesn’t change the fact that the person that killed HIM is also now a killer, a murderer, and in my estimation, there really are some folks that just NEED killing, but a murderer by any name, for ANY reason, is still a murderer…
Unfortunately, you are correct Fred. While we KNOW what a despicable person Tiller was, his killer is indeed a killer-and, again unfortunately, is one of those people who give the rest of us pro-lifers a bad name as being reactionaries. Nobody seems to remember the peaceful pro-lifers out there (Like Martin Luther King’s daughter), but they always remember those who take such extreme measures.

I disagree with you Fred about that doctor’s church. If any one needed to return to God’s loving arms, he did. Christianity is about forgiveness, not revenge. I applaud that church for accepting the sinner. And feel his murder does nothing to truly help the unborn.

Actually, the fifth commandant say that you shall not commit murder. Killing in defense of one’s life or the life of another is not murder. The justice system sees fit to not protect the lives of the unborn, so someone must.
Is killing abortionists the best way to do that, probably not as yes this will ultimately undermine the Christian message of the Sanctity of Life, all human life. And I agree that it is far better to teach that abortion, any murder, is wrong than to force my will upon someone else. I do not kill those that I believe truly deserve it because I do not want that burden upon my own soul. And well, yes, vengeance is best left to God. And, personally, I would far rather suffer at the hands of man than the hand of God. But we do have an obligation to stand for what is right, to fight against evil and to protect those that need protection. Does that make it right to kill those that murder babies? I don’t know. But I do know that I would not hesitate to kill anyone to protect my wife, daughters or son from any harm.
Yea, I’m rambling and clearly have conflicting feelings on this issue.
That said, the man did need killing. Which is a legal defense here in Texas.
