Sen. Kay *Bailout* Hutchison bails out on defunding ACORN

I recently found this great blog, The Right Side of Austin and I am using their story on this. Kay *Bailout* Hutchison is a traitor to ALL THINGS TEXAS, and all that we stand for.

She bailed out on the vote to defund ACORN. You would think she could take the time to make a stand, but here’s the truth, KBH had best be preparing herself for retirement, it’s coming soon too!

Our senior Senator from Texas decided not to vote against the continued taxpayer funding of ACORN. And now she wants to come to Texas and run the state?? This comes after the Senator voted FOR the bailout.

“Less than one week after the Senate returned to work, Senator Hutchison skipped a key vote to prevent ACORN from receiving taxpayer funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is yet another example of Senator Hutchison failing to protect the taxpayers of Texas. The Senator made time to vote for a $700 billion bailout for Wall Street, but when it came time to prevent tax dollars from going to a liberal activist group, she was nowhere to be found.? Kay *Bailout* Hutchison is a TRAITOR to Texas and all that Texas stands for. Hutchison is a RINO Washington insider. She has NO idea what the people of Texas are up against.

Case in point; Hutchison was on board with the Bush Amnesty Plan and she was pushing the Immigrant Dream Act for all it was worth SOURCE, all the while opposing border fences.

Kay Bailey Hutchison CLAIMS to be Conservative Republicans, that is a bald, open faced LIE. She is, at best, a RINO of the 1st order.

Hutchison is an AMNESTY supporter and has serious issues with border security, actually with having border security that is. She made that abundantly clear some time back, Hutchison has fought long and hard to stop a border fence from being built on the U.S. side of the Mexican border, Hutchison on defensive over border fence and Hutchison was an ardent supporter of the Immigrant Dream Act, another *back door* attempt at amnesty for ILLEGALS, Immigrant ‘Dream’ Act Fails Key Senate Vote.

Hutchison has outlived her usefulness as a Senator and she is NOT needed as our Texas Governor!

Fred, this birdbrained asshat showed what she was made of when she was pissin’n'moanin about Perry sending the Texas Rangers to the border to reinforce it. The gall of politicians always seem to amaze and disgust me at the same time.

Her insinuations of saying the government was doing what was necessary to safeguard the Americans along the border made me madder than hell, and I ain’t even a Texan.(yet)

She is a waste of air in my opinion… Retirement won’t be too bad for her, she’ll still get her Senators salary, and I hate that, but we do NOT need this RINO as a Texas Governor, hell man, she’d give us back to Mexico I think… :?

I caught part of this Capitol Hill drama this morning. It must have been this Hutchinson traitor that said she couldn’t vote to discontinue funding because “ACORN did so many good services for people” inspite of this current issue. Brian Kilmeade on Fox and Friends, who I consider to be a bit on the “duh side” most of the time, did make a comparison that I agree with.

The Mafia does a lot of good works for ordinary people and contribute to many charities that we all support. Does this mean that we should give them government funding and a free pass when they murder people and make money from human trafficking and illegal drugs?????

I hope the people of Texas respond to this miserable excuse for an American in true Texas style!!!

Oh, and I didn’t realize until now that Austin had a “Right Side”. That’s good to know. Of course Sodom and Gomorrah had Lot and his family. Must be a lonely place to live if you are a right leaning soul. :-) God bless em all.

HAM, there are a few REAL RIGHT Conservatives in Austin, a boat load of libberpukes and quite a few RINOs as well, I blast the RINOs in Austin on a regular basis… Americans for Prosperity in Austin is a solid supporter of John Cornyn, and Cornyn is as big a RINO as is KBH…

I also see where lameass McSame didn’t vote for it either. He’s another that should be put out to pasture…………….way the hell out.

I’d like to find out why he didn’t vote. Didn’t the people of Arizona elect him to be their voice in government?? Why the hell don’t he act like it then instead of what HE wants to do. I think there should be a quick way for people to get rid of their worthless asses when they won’t listen to what the people want, or they wont even try and give a good explanation of WHY they did/did not vote on an issue. Somehow/somewhere they get this “in your face” attitude immediatley after they are elected on a bunch of campaign lies. Like the saying goes…..”99% of them give the rest a bad name”.

I still think outside of Austin, Texas is a great state for true patriots. Everyone has “relatives” no one talks about, so I think the same is true of States. LOL!!!

I mean Indiana is traditionally a Red State… and they went for Obooboo in this last election. Talk about my let down!!! I was hanging my head in shame for weeks! I made up my mind to focus my job search on Georgia or Texas. Call me fickle, but I like conservative, Constitutional consistency.

Oh, and Vigilante… every time I look at the elected so called leaders in Congress, I think to myself, “Wow… all over the US there are states with many villages that are missing their “Idiots”!!!

  8. comment number 8 by: TexasFred

Gramps McLame, and the even MORE LAME GOP, are the very reason this nation has Barack Obooboo for a POTUS…

There’s a lot of things that need to change, and by God, here in Texas, we believe in blazing a trail…

Save America if at all possible, but if not, as our Governor has already said, we CAN secede… And the more I think about it, the more I am believing that secession may well be the way to go…

And for those Republic of Texas folks that already have an elected Governor, NO! You are NOT the answer and your Governor, and all the rest of your bullshit is NOT going to get the job done… Rick Perry IS the Governor of Texas, and will remain so until such time as Texas does secede, if that comes to fruition, then, and ONLY THEN, can you people run your candidates in an open election…

The only one I understand missing the vote is Byrd, and he’s got one foot in the grave. The rest of them….why do they even claim to ‘represent’ if they can’t be bothered to do their freakin’ job. Hutchison has become a major disappointment over the years. Spent too much time in the Swamp! And she sure shouldn’t screw up my beloved Texas. :D Damn, I miss Texas. :?

    @ Kate… Then come home… Charley will acclimate… Eventually… :P

LOL Yeah….AFTER he turns into a puddle! But, you never know….we have actually discussed the option. :D

There was a time a few years back when I supported KBH, but she has deserted many conservative principals or else never had them to begin with. At any rate if I were voting in the upcoming election in Texas I know where my vote would go for governor. What a great vote in the senate 83 - 7. Sanders the Socialist was no surprise.

  13. comment number 13 by: Gregory Badger

    I cannot say it.

    VOTE PERRY FOR GOVERNOR!!!!

  15. comment number 15 by: capitalisa

Kay has been a disappointment for years now. This is the final straw. Retirement for her.

  16. comment number 16 by: BobF

A vote not against them is a vote for them. I’m surprised to see Vitter on the not voting list as I had heard he was a conservative.

  17. comment number 17 by: TexasFred

Bob, I was a bit surprised at Vitter too..

The rest of the NAYS and NO VOTES were no surprise at all…

  18. comment number 18 by: James Shott

I’ve learned a lot about KBH in recent months, most of it not good.

Blessedly, both of my senators, Warner and Webb, both Dems, voted to defund.

  19. comment number 19 by: Bloviating Zeppelin

Hey, even the bulk of the DEMORATS “came around.” Even my two HUGE Lefties saw the writing on the wall, Boxer and Feinstein.

  20. comment number 20 by: Silver Fox

BZ whats up with those two—Boxer and Feinstein. Are either of them up for re-election in 2010, just curious.

  21. comment number 21 by: minuteman26

Ref - Vitter; ACORN’s natl hq is in New Orleans. Possibly afraid of retaliation from same.

  22. comment number 22 by: Kate

mm26, I find it rather odd that Vitter didn’t vote as well since he’s one of the people who called for the investigation of ACORN.

  23. comment number 23 by: Silver Fox

I find it odd also about Vitter, was he out of town? I think McCain and Graham were, but not even sure of that.
