Fear dominates life in Mexico’s deadliest city
December 6th, 2009 . by TexasFredCIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) - “Not one person murdered yesterday,” Ciudad Juarez’s leading newspaper proclaimed in a banner headline. It was big news in this border city, ground zero in the drug war - the first time in 10 months that a day had passed without a killing.
But by the end of that day, Oct. 30, nine more people were riddled with bullets.
Violent death is a part of life in Ciudad Juarez, a seedy, dust-cloaked metropolis on the banks of the Rio Grande. Bloodied bodies hang from overpasses, and children walking to school stumble across hit men filling targets with lead.
While there’s no definitive comparison of murder rates in cities around the world, there’s no question Ciudad Juarez is now among the deadliest. It has had about 2,250 killings this year, a rate of 173 per 100,000 residents. That compares with 37 in Baltimore, the deadliest U.S. city with a population of more than 500,000.

Yesterday, December 5th, there was a vicious rumor offered up by a person that shall remain unnamed. He told one of my friends to be VERY careful in dealing with me because I am a racist that has, in the past, called for the deaths of ALL that cross our borders illegally.
He went on to tell my friend that he thought I had *mellowed* since I had stopped ranting about ILLEGAL immigration and the INVADERS that are destroying our nation.
He is wrong!
I have NOT mellowed, in ANY way. I just grew tired of ranting about something that a supposed GOP POTUS was ignoring and I knew that there was no sense in wasting my time making posts now that Barack Hussein Obama is temporarily in the Oval Office.
I STILL believe that our borders need to be manned by well armed troops. I STILL believe that any and ALL persons crossing our border at anything other than a LEGAL Port of Entry need to be shot on sight as foreign and hostile INVADERS!
I also said in the past that I don’t give a DAMN about what happens to these invaders when they are wandering around in the heat of the desert southwest. That hasn’t changed either.
And for the record, ILLEGALS are NOT a race, they are a people. How can I be a racist for my beliefs against a people? Wouldn’t that make me a *peopleist*? Just sayin’… 
You see, I don’t hate any particular RACE of invaders, I am an equal opportunity hater, I hate ALL ILLEGAL invaders, no matter where they come from, no matter their pigmentation, no matter their reasons for coming to this nation. If they are NOT here legally, they are criminals, as such, they need to be punished AS criminals.
Of course we all know that is just not going happen.
There are far too many bleeding heart libbers, and a few FAUX Conservatives, that haven’t got the GUTS to stand and defend this nation. The FAUX Conservatives, better know as RINOs, are as intent on destroying this nation as are the Islamic Jihadists that permeate the fabric of our once great nation.
I am truly saddened by the conditions that people face in Mexico, and in other nations. I am NOT at all enthusiastic about letting them turn the USA into a festering 3rd world dung heap like the one they came from!
I’m a racist for believing these things? I don’t think so. I am an America 1st PATRIOT, not some FAUX Conservative, former libber that plays a RACE card every time I am in disagreement with someone.
America is in the most precarious position it’s ever been in. We have more domestic enemies than we do foreign. Many of our foreign enemies are now HERE. We just let them walk in, across a wide open border.
Look at what’s going on all over Mexico, and especially in Juarez. There is very little standing in the way of that violence and anarchy crossing the border and expanding the foothold they already have on the American homeland!
If I am to wear the title RACIST because I still believe these things and because I have the guts to speak them publicly and publish them in my blog, then I guess I’m a racist!
As the title of this post says, “Fear dominates life in Mexico’s deadliest city”, I don’t want to see that fear dominate ANY city in THIS nation!

SOS, “shoot-on-sight” sounds like a good policy to me. I for one am sick of these Washington politicians turning a blind eye to illegal immigration, or actually encouraging it by instituting programs that act as a magnet for them law-breakers. Normally, if one breaks laws getting here they will continue to break laws once they are here. Yes, I agree with SOS. “Undocumented guest workers�? my fanny. They’re illegal aliens. Get it? ILLEGAL! Since when does calling something by a different name suddenly make it acceptable? You can rename a pile of manure and call it “Post Consumption Animal Feed�?, but it still stinks, it still attracts flies, and I still don’t want to step in it.
Why is it that legislators are even considering blanket amnesty for the tens of millions of illegal aliens that are hiding in this country? (I know why - they aren’t “undocumented guest workers” - they’re UNDOCUMENTED DEMOCRATIC PARTY VOTERS!)
Do we need that “labor force�?? Perhaps a portion of it, but the argument that we couldn’t possibly do without them doesn’t hold water, either. Consider all the “savings�? of cheap labor as opposed to the huge costs of extra services, both government and private sector – plus the over 20 billion dollars a year they snatch out of the economy and mail back home. But rather than just say, “Oh well, since you’re already here you can stay�? to anyone and everyone who managed to do a duck-and-run across our border in the middle of the night, we need to put some order and discipline into it.
First of all, we need to have them get a U.S. Government issued photo identification card (an ID card from any other country is not acceptable!) available at (and only available at) the U.S. embassy in their home country. That means they’ll have to go back home and visit the embassy in person.
Then they need to apply to that same embassy in person for permission to re-enter this country, with permission being granted only to those who are healthy (no aids, typhoid, herpes, TB, plague, Measles, Mumps, or other serious communicable diseases – not even lice!), have no criminal background (provided it is a crime in this country. And not just if we can’t find any criminal background - if they can’t prove a clear background to our complete satisfaction they don’t get in) and prove that they have had all standard vaccinations and are in good health (both physically and mentally) so they don’t show up just to get us to pay for their operation or treatment for some malady, or have the baby here at U.S. taxpayer’s expense. Then, and only then, should they be allowed back into this country on a 10 year probationary basis.
You’re convicted of anything other than a misdemeanor? We’re sending you back home (right after you get out of jail). You’re convicted of any 3 misdemeanors in a 2 year period? We’re sending you back home. You’re unemployed for more than 5 months? We’re sending you back home. We catch you working “under the table�? and not paying your share of taxes? We’re sending you back home. You need treatment for alcoholism or drug addiction? Nope. We’re sending you back home, and your motherland can treat you. You get caught with illegal drugs in any quantity? We’re sending you back home. Have ties to any persona non gratis? We’re sending you back home. You belong to a street gang or other criminal or anti-American organization as defined by the State Department, Department of Homeland Security, CIA, or FBI? We’re sending you back home.
Haven’t become proficient in English in 4 years? We’re sending you back home. Can’t pay your own doctor bills and trot to the emergency room every time you or one of your kids has a sniffle? We’re sending you back home. You or any family members apply for or accept welfare or any form of public assistance, including Social Security? We’re sending you back home. Can’t pay your phone bill, electric bill, rent, car payment and the like and they are put into collections? We’re sending you back home. Get caught driving drunk? We’re sending you back home. Get caught driving with no license? We’re sending you back home. Get caught driving with no insurance? We’re sending you back home. Get caught aiding, abetting, or harboring someone who is here illegally? We’re sending you back home. And all that is just for starters.
You will have 4 months to drag your tail back to wherever you came from and visit the U.S. Embassy in your homeland. If we catch you illegally in the United States or any of its territories after that, you are first going to jail, we are confiscating any and all of your property and possessions and auctioning them off to pay for shipping your butt back to wherever it is you came from and pay off any of your debts. If you don’t have enough to cover it we will deduct every last penny directly from any foreign aid to your home country - along with a hefty service fee, plus we will fingerprint you, photograph you, take DNA samples from you, and take a retinal eye scan of you so that, if you ever attempt to cross our border again or get caught inside the United States, you will spend a very long time here as a documented guest worker - making license plates in one of our “gray bar hotels�?. No exceptions. And when you’re done with that (after we have deducted every dime of your keep from foreign aid to your homeland) guess where you’re headed! Back to your homeland. Permanently. You will never be given another chance.
You have children here? They are not automatically citizens just because mama had the baby on U.S. soil – they will not be eligible to become citizens until your probationary period is over.
Bottom line is this. This country has always welcomed legal immigrants and both invited them to become and insisted that they become productive Americans. You have abused our patience, generosity, and liberty, but now the party’s over. No more free ride. No more looking the other way. No more listening to your excuses or making up excuses for you. Get with the program, do it legally, and do it now. If not? We’re sending you back home. Permanently.

A quick proposal to help the budget deficit. The powers that be could rent or raffle out lengths of the border to be patrolled by the winning team/group/militia for a set period of time. They would be charged with enforcing all state and federal laws in their areas including apprehension, arrest, trial and carrying out sentences. Unidentified illegal intruders would be shot on site for violating our borders. Then the lottery could be restarted to ensure all those wishing to participate had an opportunity to do so. This would be similar to the beautify a section of highway program. Just a different type of cleaning. Groups would have full law enforcement and military authority over their sectors during their deployment time. Sign me up. CAVOK

I guess I’m a racist too. I believe all illegals should be shot if they are headed north from Mexico ( southbound ones are free to keep running )…same applies for those headed south from Canada. Illegals are not welcome.
I’ve always thought there needs to be a one mile ( No Man Zone ) at all borders. This zone will belong the the military and be used for bombing and target range….and land mine testing. Anything or anyone crossing it becomes a target and will be left for the vultures to eat…if they can find pieces big enough to feast on.
But then again…that’s just my racist opinion.
extex_cop, THAT sounds like a practical plan to me. It would save the tax payers a lot of money (fewer border patrols needed, less expense “sending them back” when they are caught, and the military could use a good place to practice with new weaponry!)

I agree on the 1 mile buffer zone to be used for bombing and artillary practice. When the sirens are set off by infra red motion detectors, thats when the firing starts in that area.

You guys are far to kind to our brothers to the south. I would set some 100,000 six-foot long rat traps along the southern border and bait them with 1,000,000 lbs of domestic tortilla’s and if they get by those I propose setting up some 10,000 water stations in the desert regions of Arizona and NM and stocking each with 1,000 bottles of water laced with arsenic. Now I’ve had my racist rant, too. I felt left out.
