US Orders Blackout Over North Korean Torpedoing Of Gulf Of Mexico Oil Rig

April 30th, 2010 . by TexasFred

OK, anyone that regularly reads my blog knows, I am NOT into conspiracy theory stuff. That said, this is not along the same line as a 9-11 Truther story or a JFK theory. I offer this to my readers uncut, and with no comment from me other than this introduction.

US Orders Blackout Over North Korean Torpedoing Of Gulf Of Mexico Oil Rig

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war? it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.

To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel? Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide? troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated? from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).

On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal? 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright. Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.

To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an “impossible dilemma? prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York.

This “impossible dilemma? facing Obama is indeed real as the decision he is faced with is either to allow the continuation of this massive oil leak catastrophe to continue for months, or immediately stop it by the only known and proven means possible, the detonation of a thermonuclear device.

Russian Navy atomic experts in these reports state that should Obama choose the “nuclear option? the most viable weapon at his disposal is the United States B83 (Mk-83) strategic thermonuclear bomb having a variable yield (Low Kiloton Range to 1,200 Kilotons) which with its 12 foot length and 18 inch diameter, and weighing just over 2,400 pounds, is readily able to be deployed and detonated by a remote controlled mini-sub.

Should Obama choose the “nuclear option? it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in “extreme circumstances? or “self defense?.

On the other hand, if Obama chooses the “nuclear option? it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran.

To whatever decision Obama makes it remains a fact that with each passing hour this environmental catastrophe grows worse. And even though Obama has ordered military SWAT teams to protect other oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico from any further attack, and further ordered that all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico be immediately stopped, this massive oil spill has already reached the shores of America and with high waves and more bad weather forecast the likelihood of it being stopped from destroying thousands of miles of US coastland and wildlife appears unstoppable.

And not just to the environmental catastrophe that is unfolding the only devastation to be wrecked upon the United States and South Korea by this North Korean attack as the economic liabilities associated with this disaster are estimated by these Russian reports to be between $500 Billion to $1.5 Trillion, and which only a declaration of this disaster being an “act of war? would free some the World’s largest corporations from bankruptcy.

Important to note too in all of these events was that this was the second attack by North Korea on its South Korean enemy, and US ally, in a month as we had reported on in our March 28th report titled “Obama Orders ‘Immediate Stand-down’ After Deadly North Korean Attack? and which to date neither the Americans or South Korea have retaliated for and giving one senior North Korean party leader the courage to openly state that the North Korean military took “gratifying revenge? on South Korea.

And for those believing that things couldn’t get worse, they couldn’t be more mistaken as new reports coming from Japanese military sources are stating that North Korea is preparing for new launches of its 1,300 kilometer (807 miles) intermediate range ballistic “Rodong? missile which Russian Space Forces experts state is able to “deploy and detonate? an atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device, and which if detonated high in the atmosphere could effectively destroy the American economy for years, if not decades, to come.

interesting. I was listening to an engineer who works these platforms speak the other day. He said this rig was state of the art and was equipped with all the technological advances in safety. He also said they can’t figure out what could have caused the explosion. Couple what the engineer said and what the article says and it makes sense. It could easily be done.

The worst environmental disaster we could face…

Obama, the most useless POS to EVER inhabit the White House..

    N. Korea pissing on S. Korea…

Russian Intel might be onto something, it is plausible, but, Russian Intel can tell a hell of a story too…

But with Obama in office, nothing is out of the realm of possibility, he (Obama) is incredibly weak in ALL areas and our enemies know that… This has the look of *deep shit* to it, and the former Mil and Intel guys know exactly what I am talking about…

I also have to say, a blackout of U.S. news sources, and us having to get a story from the EU is not at all out of the ordinary lately. Some EU sources have better U.S. sources than U.S. media does. And they present a better, clearer picture of fact… As well as some damned interesting fiction… :P

I am not a conspiracy guy, but this makes more sense then anything else I have heard.

    N. Korea seems to want to provoke something.

The well is leaking over 5000 ft down. I read somewhere that they have already made one attempt at capping it. I don’t think Nuclear is necessary. We are smarter then they think.

Obama is the weakest link not American ingenuity.

    I don’t really know man, I’m not a tin foil hat wearer…BUT;
IF NK did this, I know Obama will get really pissed, I’m betting he’ll warm up the teleprompter and have Rahm get ready for a shower….

IF the media is blacked out under Obama’s direction, the alphabet networks would oblige, all the “Times” press would oblige, but I doubt Fox would.

It does beg the question though; Why would Obama send SWAT units to “Inspect Oil Rigs?” I know a lot of officers, who went through training, one actually served on LA county SWAT for many years…I don’t think they went through oil rig safety or structural integrity training….

The other key piece in Obama’s speech today Obama’s speech about the oil spill is the part about “Potentially the Dept of Defense” that kind of squeaked out…

What’s the odds we will ever hear the truth of how it happened? and if we do hear the story, because of there LIES past, will we believe it?

It sounds quite feasible, especially considering how crazy Kim Jong Il is and how little respect and contempt he seems to have for all other nations including ours, thanks to Obozo the Weak and Pandering.

I’m not breaking out the tinfoil hat, but this seems like it could well be exactly what happened.

Now you know Fred that the nincompoop in the White House will do nothing towards N. Korea. It would upset his appeasement plans.

Sounds like a sound reason to go to war.
    Put everybody back to work.
Reason to close the borders,,,all of them.Round up all people without legit papers to be in the USA and first put them in holding camps. Yes.
Strike back immediately on North Korea. Let their soil be a smoking hulk for all the South Koreans to re-build correctly.

The biggest problem here in the USA is what to do with all the blacks who won’t fight, and all the peace-niks who would sympathize and twist their hands, and all our prison population.
Simple, just follow the rules set way back at the beginning of WW2.
Take them over to the North Korean wasteland and turn them loose. Let the South Koreans handle the problem “their way” on their soil.

This would solve our unemployment problem, union problem, race problem, prison problem and economic problem.

Any American who wouldn’t serve this Nation would be shot forthwith as a traitor.
    And,,,God Bless America,,,,again.

I don’t know about this. I just reviewed a time-lapsed photo doc on PDF that pretty much shows the initial fire destroying the rig. I don’t know the original cause of the fire (coulda been the NK knuckleheads), but the last part of the ‘suicide splodie sub’ lends to sensationalism which then makes me question the rest of the article.

If they did take that rig out, I’d say let’s go ahead and give them that nuke they’ve been wanting… As Sean Connery said in the Untouchables, “They send one of ours to the hospital, we send two of theirs to the morgue.”

I’ll forward you the PDF Fred.

    How reliable is the source?

It’s linked to an EU paper… How reliable is the media here? How reliable is ANY news source?

As I said, I presented this for everyone to read and make their own decisions, I didn’t say it was an irrefutable source…

  15. comment number 15 by: mbarnet

I tried to go to that EU source. At first it wasn’t coming up at all, then I get a big red screen message that this “site is unreliable” or something.

  16. comment number 16 by: TexasFred

@mbarnet — And I am responsible for that HOW?

  17. comment number 17 by: minuteman26

Mark Levin interview with petro engineer who was on the rig at time of explosion refutes terrorism as cause. Said explosion was caused by gas regurgitated from well pipe. Was unexpected accident.

Funny, I’ve had 2 different people tell me that the link to the story set a virus on their computer, from folks I have NEVER heard of…

Kinda funny, I have a big bunch of friends that have hit the link, as have I, several times, and had NO trouble whatsoever…

Maybe those 2 don’t like the post, maybe they are the asshats that are making rounds talking about anyone that posts this story…

Whatever, I have NO problems with MY computer, have run virus scan twice to be sure, re-booted 3 times and nothing blew up, burned out or melted down…

Fred, I went to the origin of that site, and it’s appearance is that of InfoWars.com or some other fringe-type sites. Not to say that the story may not be interesting, but the usual EU places I frequent for stories that the US media REFUSE to cover — such as the UK Telegraph and UK Times — doesn’t have spot on this story.

It sets an interesting theory; I am not quite of a bent that I think I can throw myself whole hog into the hypothesis.

Yes, there is some credible evidence out there. YOU point it out with regard to the NEW evidence indicating the SoKo ship suffered from an explosion originating OUTSIDE the hull. This is the kind of evidence that would be primarily easy to determine. Naturally, this raises even MORE questions with regard to the involvement of NoKo.

Suffice to say, I would NOT put it past the little NoKo idiot to keep pressing the envelope and throw torps at a SoKo ship or even send something nautical and explosive at an oil rig.

I think this is one of those stories where I’d want a variety of sources before I invested some serious decisions in a path or plan.

And, like you, I have little if ANY confidence in Mr Obaka’s ability to reliably and logically handle any strategic situation that involved positive consideration for the US. Mr Obaka is a defeatist for the US, surely.

Damn… 1st it was a virus, then a worm, then a Trojan, now it’s porn… Ya know, those accusations make me wonder if maybe we’re not really on to something here… :?

We really are on to something too, outing moonbats! :P

  27. comment number 27 by: Steve Dennis

This certainly is interesting. I am not big on conspiracy theories either, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that there is a cover up by the US government here. After all, they are covering up the truth in the Fort Hood terrorist attack.

  28. comment number 28 by: coastdaze

Hello, I’m a newbie here…just found TexasFred when researching the NK bomb story. Nothing, nothing surprises me with regard to the U.S.A. situation and this administration. It’s amazing to watch but not surprising. I’ve wondered for some time why the U.S.A. doesn’t just stamp out the bugs that are bringing chaos to the world. I’m not a war monger, but enough is enough. It seems to me from what I know of history that the hits on Hiroshima and Nagasaki changed Japan’s aspirations right quick. Sometimes you got to punch the bullies in the gut and bring them down to make them stop. Unless it’s God’s timing and “this is it”, maybe it’s time to strike back…hard and sure. Of course, this administration’s agenda seems to be to bring America to her knees. Gosh - what a time to be alive!

  29. comment number 29 by: TexasFred

If there is NO threat of sabotage or terrorism, WHY is the DoD involved and WHY are SWAT Teams heading out to check security of the rigs??

And WHY has this video been removed from YouTube?

  30. comment number 30 by: Bloviating Zeppelin

That’s an excellent series of questions. Questions that the MEDIA WON’T ask, and, if asked, Mr Obaka won’t answer anyway.

This man is the poster child for inept and clueless.
