Obama makes clear support for ground zero mosque

WASHINGTON (AP) - After skirting the controversy for weeks, President Barack Obama is weighing in forcefully on the mosque near ground zero, saying a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.

“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama told an intently listening crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.”

Is there ANY doubt where the loyalties of Barack Hussein Obama lie?

Many of us have accused him of being a ‘stealth Muslim’ since long before the presidential race of 2008. We didn’t, or, more precisely, I didn’t attack him for being half Black and half White, that is something he had NO control over. I did address the fact that I believe him to not be what he claims to be, a Christian. And for that questioning of Obama’s true religious belief, I have been called a vile racist.

I also happen to be one that believes Obama to be a non-citizen, but that’s another matter.

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

Robert Gibbs, as big a PC, Casper Milquetoast moonbat as I believe him to be, is right in this instance. It is a local matter. Why then, if he is NOT a Muslim himself, does Barack Hussein Obama feel the need to weigh in on this matter? Is he pandering the Muslims for votes and support? Is he that desperate?

I know his approval among GOP members is non-existent, I know his approval is rapidly falling within his Democratic party. Is Barack Hussein Obama so desperate for some sort of vindication, some kind of support, that he would openly ingratiate himself to Islam?

Anyone that doesn’t believe that Barack Hussein Obama isn’t in the pocket of Islam needs to read this: America’s Rich Muslim Heritage.

Obama is a terribly confused individual where American history and heritage are concerned.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.

While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed “hallowed ground,” Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

Apply American values? I have said on this blog before, it’s a good thing that people like Obama were not in power in 1941. We’d ALL be speaking Japanese right about now if they had been.

If Obama’s idea of the application of American values is any indicator, I have to believe that he would support the building of a Japanese temple at Pearl Harbor!

Do you want further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is a fool?

Harkening back to earlier times when the building of synagogues or Catholic churches also met with opposition, Obama said: “Time and again, the American people have demonstrated that we can work through these issues, and stay true to our core values and emerge stronger for it. So it must be and will be today.”

Apparently Obama is under the belief that the Jews and Catholics attacked America. That is the only way I could possibly see him justifying his remark. This isn’t about prejudice, the type exhibited by The Klan, and I am certain that their beliefs and practices are what Obama is using as his rationale.

Obama: Professed 9/11 mastermind will be convicted

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama predicted that professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be convicted and executed as Attorney General Eric Holder proclaimed: “Failure is not an option.”

Even if a terror trial suspect were acquitted, Holder said, he would not be released in the United States.

In one of a series of TV interviews during his trip to Asia, Obama said those offended by the legal privileges given to Mohammed by virtue of getting a civilian trial rather than a military tribunal won’t find it “offensive at all when he’s convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him.”

Obama quickly added that he did not mean to suggest he was prejudging the outcome of Mohammed’s trial. “I’m not going to be in that courtroom,” he said. “That’s the job of the prosecutors, the judge and the jury.”

Is Barack Hussein Obama a fool or is he a diabolical, terrorist supporting genius?

IF these trials are held on U.S. soil, the defendants will be represented by court appointed attorneys. In a lot of criminal cases, a court appointed attorney is some kid right out of law school, a bleeding heart crusader that went to work for the Public Defenders office because he is convinced that he’s going to change the world and the realities of LIFE haven’t jumped up and slapped him in the face yet.

That will NOT be the type of attorney that represents Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Khalid will be represented by the best we have to offer, and WE, the U.S. taxpayers, will be the ones paying for it. And don’t think for one minute that this story will not be used as a part of the defense. “U.S. President suggests GUILT of my client your Honor, and the President has influenced and tainted the opinions of ALL possible jurors!”. I would bet on it. In fact, I would be shocked if a defense attorney didn’t use that as an opening gambit to try and get ALL charges dropped and have Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and his cronies, freed.

Geraldine Davie, whose 23-year-old daughter died at the World Trade Center’s Tower One, attended the hearing as a spectator, and said she wants Mohammed to stay in the military system. “He’s not a U.S. citizen, why should he have those rights? My daughter didn’t have those rights,” said Davie, who lives in Springfield, Va.

Opponents of the plan, including Holder’s predecessor Michael Mukasey, have accused him of adopting a “pre-9/11″ approach to terrorism.

If ever there was a time in U.S. history where the true allegiance of the POTUS could be brought into question, this is it. Obama has long been suspected of being a supporter of Islam. He has taken great pains to keep his birth certificate hidden, his ties to his Islamic background buried and he continues to declare that he is a 100% American loving Christian and NOT a ‘stealth Muslim’.

His actions in making decisions concerning our troops fighting in Afghanistan, and now this decision to bring KNOWN, and confessed, Islamic terrorists to trial on U.S. soil speak greatly to the contrary regarding his Islamic ties.

Obama’s own actions speak volumes to his claim of being an America lover.

This is a man that refused to wear an American flag pin on his lapel while campaigning for the office of President. He began to wear one ONLY after he was soundly castigated in the press at the behest of some adamant American patriots.

This is a man that will NOT place his hand over his heart during the playing of our National Anthem. A simple gesture, and one that means EVERYTHING to real Americans, the PATRIOT that is ready to stand and take this nation back from the clutches of this socialist SOB that is currently sitting in the Oval Office.
