Race remains hot topic despite Obama presidency

Race remains hot topic despite Obama presidency

The election of the first black president in U.S. history was supposed to usher in a post-racial era in America.

But a series of controversies since then, from the White House “Beer Summit” to the conflicts between the tea party and NAACP, shows that race is still a hot-button issue.

“As a society, clearly we’re not over race,” said Hettie V. Williams, lecturer in the African American History Department at Monmouth University.

Unlike the racial disturbances of the 1960s and ’70s, the race-related controversies of the past two years have, for the most part, played out over the airwaves and across the blogosphere, not on the streets of America’s cities.

Race remains hot topic despite Obama presidency

Race DOES remain a HOT TOPIC…for the RACE BAITERS.

That, my friends, is the face of a MAD MAN, an America hating MAD MAN that isn’t white, isn’t black, isn’t even believed by many to even be an American.

It’s obvious, he doesn’t fit into any particular world, White or Black. That degree of confusion and mental strife is more than enough to make Hussein Obama the biggest racist and race baiter in America.

Because of his very misplaced feelings, because of his mixed race, because he is doubted as being an American, because he feels that he has to KILL America to prove that he is of at least some worth, I am convinced that the REAL racist, and the biggest reason for continued racial divide in America is Hussein Obama himself.

A few quotes from Hussein Obama’s book, Dreams Of My Father:

That hate hadn’t gone away…white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” — Dreams Of My Father

“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out, many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs. . . It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.” — Dreams of My Father

“I found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievances and animosity against my mother’s race.” — Dreams of My Father

“The emotion between the races could never be pure….. the THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT: MENACING, ALIEN AND APART” — Dreams of my Father

“I began to notice that Cosby never got the girl on I Spy, that the black man on Mission Impossible spent all his time underground. I noticed that there was nobody like me in the Sears, Roebuck Christmas catalog that Toot and Gramps sent us, and that Santa was a white man. I kept these observations to myself, deciding that either my mother didn’t see them or she was trying to protect me and that I shouldn’t expose her efforts as having failed.” — Dreams of my Father

“No, it remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.” — Dreams of my Father

There’s more, but that was all I could take and not lose my lunch.

Ex-Obama pastor: ‘Obama threw me under the bus’

Ex-Obama pastor: ‘Obama threw me under the bus’

NEW YORK (AP) - The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s controversial former pastor, said in a letter obtained by The Associated Press that he is “toxic” to the Obama administration and that the president “threw me under the bus.”

In his strongest language to date about the administration’s 2-year-old rift with the Chicago pastor, Wright told a group raising money for African relief that his pleas to release frozen funds for use in earthquake-ravaged Haiti would likely be ignored.

“No one in the Obama administration will respond to me, listen to me, talk to me or read anything that I write to them. I am ‘toxic’ in terms of the Obama administration,” Wright wrote the president of Africa 6000 International earlier this year.

“I am ‘radioactive,’ Sir. When Obama threw me under the bus, he threw me under the bus literally!” he wrote. “Any advice that I offer is going to be taken as something to be avoided. Please understand that!”

Ex-Obama pastor: ‘Obama threw me under the bus’

Jeremiah Wright is very correct in his statement, Barack Hussein Obama DID throw him under the bus. I don’t have a problem with that.

I just wish that Americans had paid attention to Wright, and listened to HIS words, and had taken those words to heart as they realized this fact: Barack Obama listened to the preachings of Wright, more correctly, the anti-American rantings, of this America hating, so-called preacher, listened to them for years, and considered Wright to be his spiritual adviser, a trusted friend and a counselor.

Obama listened to Wright right up until the time that Wright became a liability to Obama’s run for the White House. Once Wright’s rants were exposed, Wright was under the bus.

The White House didn’t respond to requests for comment Monday about Wright’s remarks. Several phone messages left by the AP for Wright at the Trinity United Church of Christ, where he is listed as a pastor emeritus, were not returned. Wright’s spokeswoman, his daughter Jeri Wright, did not immediately comment on the substance of the letter.

The Obama White House has Wright on *ignore*, a lot like that crazy uncle we all love but just know that if we invite him to the reunion, he’s going to say something terribly off the wall and embarrass the entire family. “Y’all know that Uncle Jeremiah just ain’t right in the head, ignore him and humor him a bit, it’ll all be good…”

Then-Sen. Obama cut ties with Wright when his more incendiary remarks became an Internet sensation in the spring of 2008. At a National Press Club appearance in April 2008, he claimed the U.S. government could plant AIDS in the black community, praised Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and suggested Obama was putting his pastor at arm’s length for political purposes while privately agreeing with him.

Lest we all forget Wright’s famous rants:

Fox’s Glenn Beck says he believes Obama is racist

July 28th, 2009 . by TexasFred

Fox’s Glenn Beck says he believes Obama is racist

NEW YORK (AP) – Fox News Channel commentator Glenn Beck said he believes President Barack Obama is a racist. Beck made the statement during a guest appearance Tuesday on the “Fox & Friends? morning show. He said Obama has exposed himself as a person with “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.?

His remarks came during a discussion of Obama’s reaction to the arrest of Harvard University scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. Gates is black and was arrested for disorderly conduct by a white policeman over a misunderstanding about a break-in at Gates’ home.

An Obama spokesman, William Burton, said the White House had no comment on Beck.

Beck’s statement was challenged on the air by Fox host Brian Kilmeade, who noted that most of the people who work for the nation’s first black president are white.

“I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people,? Beck said. “He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.?

Fox’s Glenn Beck says he believes Obama is racist

Personally, I believe that Glenn Beck is 100%, dead center, square on the mark. But here’s the real truth about being *on the mark* in the MSM, even with the mighty FOX News Network, sometimes, no matter how right you are, your words are going to come back to haunt you, and possibly cost you a job. Ask E.D. Hill.

E.D. Hill and her show, “America’s Pulse? has been removed from her time slot at Fox, because of something she said in her news presentation . On June 6th last, on her former program, “America’s Pulse,? E.D. Hill teased in a segment about body-language about Obama’s fist bump with his wife Michelle.

Obama supporters and the leftist blogs on the web were in a rage and an uproar about the comments, and George Soros’ “Media Matters? began a campaign encouraging people to contact Fox and complaint about what is in their view an unforgivable slight of Obama and Michelle.

Fox Removes E.D. Hill and Her Show

E.D. Hill makes a crack about the fist bump, an exhibition of ghetto solidarity if ever there was one, and *poof*, she’s history.

And just today, Michelle Malkin was on Glenn Beck’s program. I know she wasn’t directly involved but she was present when FOX made a reference to Michelle Obama being the BABY MAMA!

NEW YORK (AP) – Fox News Channel referred to Michelle Obama as “Obama’s baby mama? in a graphic on Wednesday, the latest in a trio of references to the Democratic presidential campaign that have given fuel to network critics.

The graphic “Outraged liberals: Stop picking on Obama’s baby mama? was flashed during an interview with conservative columnist Michelle Malkin about whether Barack Obama’s wife has been the target of unfair criticism.

My story on that incident is HERE but it appears that MyWay or AP has removed the story from their link.

Bill Shine, senior vice president of programming at Fox, said in a statement that a producer “exercised poor judgment? during the segment. The producer was not fired; no other disciplinary action was announced. Hill’s “terrorist fist jab? comment came in a tease to a segment on the candidates’ body language, and it wasn’t repeated during the subsequent interview. She told Fox it was taken from something she had read online.

Wright says ‘Jews’ keeping him from Obama

June 11th, 2009 . by TexasFred

Wright says ‘Jews’ keeping him from Obama

HAMPTON, Virginia - President Barack Obama’s controversial former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is blaming “them Jews” for keeping him from speaking to the president.

Wright, the former pastor of Chicago’s Trinity United Church of Christ, said he hasn’t spoken to Obama since he became president.

“Them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office,” Wright told the Daily Press of Newport News following a Tuesday night sermon at the 95th annual Hampton University Ministers’ Conference.

Full Story Here:
Wright says ‘Jews’ keeping him from Obama

Remember this, Barack Hussein Obama was mentored by this man for many years. Obama never saw a thing wrong with the words of the good Reverend until he (Obama) wanted to become POTUS. But Rev. Jeremiah Wright does speak the truth on this one thing, once Barack Hussein Obama is a *lame duck*, he’ll be right back in the flock with Rev. Jeremiah Wright as his spiritual leader.

I really don’t have a lot more to say concerning Wright and Obama other than this, they are birds of a feather, both of them are nothing more than trash, attempting to rise above their level. I will give you folks a few examples of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s way of thinking. Any that haven’t already concluded that Wright is a racist and Obama is his student, if this doesn’t convince you, there is no hope for you.

“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.? (2003)

“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.?

“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye.? SOURCE

Ladies and Gentlemen, those are the rantings of a mad man, a vile racist, an anti-Semite, a hater of America, a hater of white people, a hater of Jews, a man that favors the enemies of America over the people OF America.

Did Barack Hussein Obama automatically toss out the racist, and anti-Semitic teachings of his Pastor once he became president, or is he simply keeping those teachings in his heart and acting upon them as he can, without placing his administration in danger? Do Obama’s words give him away?

• Mr. Obama referred four times in his speech to “the Holy Koran.” Non-Muslims — even pandering ones — generally don’t use that Islamic formulation.

• Mr. Obama established his firsthand knowledge of Islam (albeit without mentioning his reported upbringing in the faith) with the statement, “I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed.” Again, “revealed” is a depiction Muslims use to reflect their conviction that the Koran is the word of God, as dictated to Muhammad.

• Then the president made a statement no believing Christian — certainly not one versed, as he professes to be, in the ways of Islam — would ever make. In the context of what he euphemistically called the “situation between Israelis, Palestinians and Arabs,” Mr. Obama said he looked forward to the day “. . . when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) joined in prayer.”

Now, the term “peace be upon them” is invoked by Muslims as a way of blessing deceased holy men. According to Islam, that is what all three were - dead prophets. Of course, for Christians, Jesus is the living and immortal Son of God. SOURCE

Take a look at the link, read this one for yourself and make your own decisions. But I have to ask, what are the odds that a decent man would allow a person like Wright to perform his wedding and then have his kids baptized by a man like Wright, let alone sit in his pews for 20 years and not see, and absorb all of this into his own being?
