US to consider local views on 9/11 trial location

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration said Sunday it would consider local opposition when deciding where to hold Sept. 11 trials and pledged to seek swift justice for the professed mastermind of the attacks.

“Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is going to meet justice and he’s going to meet his maker,” said President Barack Obama’s press secretary, Robert Gibbs. “He will be brought to justice and he’s likely to be executed for the heinous crimes that he committed in killing and masterminding the killing of 3,000 Americans. That you can be sure of.”

Objections from New York City officials and residents have intensified since the Justice Department announced late last year it planned to put Mohammed and accused Sept. 11 conspirators on trial in federal court in lower Manhattan. In its new budget, the administration is proposing a $200 million fund to help pay for security costs in cities hosting terrorist trials.

White House aide David Axelrod said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and other city officials have changed their minds after initially supporting the decision for trials in the city, citing logistics and costs.

I have a few things I want to say regarding these terrorist trials.

First and foremost, Robert Gibbs is a blithering idiot. If a competent defense attorney gets a hold of that statement, “Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is going to meet justice and he’s going to meet his maker”, he will make mincemeat of the prosecution. When you deliberately make a statement like that, you have opened the door to a claim of Presidential prejudice and what may be perceived as an attempt to influence a jury. Can you say mistrial?

Any lawyer, and isn’t the President supposed to BE a lawyer, isn’t his wife a lawyer, ANY lawyer that would allow one of his employees to make a statement of that nature may very well be trying to pollute a potential jury pool as well.

Regardless of his words, or those of his hand puppet, Robert Gibbs, it has long been my personal and deep belief that Barack Hussein Obama has pushed so hard to have these trials carried out on U.S. soil because he wants to give the terrorists all the rights afforded to an American criminal on trial in an American court.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is NOT an American citizen, he is a terrorist. He should have the right to a fair trial by military tribunal and a swift execution by firing squad! And it should have taken place long ago.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., said the administration should shift the trials to military courts, which he said have been reviewed by Congress to ensure fairness. He and other Republicans have criticized officials for charging Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab in civilian court in the Christmas airliner plot instead of turning him over to military authorities.

“We have to make a distinction between a kid who breaks into a sandwich shop in Detroit and a Nigerian terrorist who wants to blow up an airplane flying into Detroit,” Alexander said.

It’s not too often that I agree with Sen. Lamar Alexander, but in this particular instance, we are on the same page. These guys are NOT criminals in the American sense of the word, they are, plain and simple, nothing more or less than TERRORISTS. Why can’t Barack Hussein Obama accept that as a fact of life? Obama pitching health care plan to the insured

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama is switching his message on his overhaul of the nation’s health care system, readying a fresh pitch designed for those who already have insurance.

The White House is retooling its message amid polling that shows Americans — especially those who already have coverage — skeptical of the Democratic proposals to expand coverage to millions. Instead, Obama will use a potentially boisterous town hall-style meeting in New Hampshire to highlight how his proposals would affect workers whose employers provide their health insurance.

The shift also is a potential blueprint for lawmakers’ August recess. Critics of the president’s plan have grabbed headlines by disrupting town hall meetings, and the White House expects that Tuesday’s event may be bumpy.

Obama is prepared for possible disruptions, said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, appearing on television talk shows Tuesday morning.

The President of the United States of America is a MORON! He is a socialist and an IDIOT of the 1st order. Apparently he believes that the American people are too, otherwise, he wouldn’t be trying to shove this Obamanure called ObamaKare down our throats.

“I think what the president will do is turn to that person and probably ask them to be civilized and give them an answer to their question,” Gibbs told CBS’ The Early Show. The town hall tradition is to give people information, he said, “so they can make a decision about policy that impacts their lives and I think that’s what this town hall meeting will do today and I know the president is excited about engaging the public again.”

Barack Hussein Obama (IDIOT), has nothing to worry about, his Secret Service guys, armed with MP-5 sub-machine guns, will keep The Obamessiah safe and sound from the ignorant and unwashed masses. Obama will spout off his usual line of Obamaure and walk away with that smug, superior look on his face, thinking to himself, “I got em fooled again”.

White House still warns of 10 percent jobless rate

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Friday welcomed a dip in unemployment as evidence “the worst may be behind us” with the recession well into its second year. Earlier, however, the White House said that the president still expects unemployment to hit 10 percent sometime later this year.

Let me see if I understand this; unemployment has dipped. Obamanure says, “the worst may be behind us”. And earlier, the White House said that Obamanure still expects unemployment to hit 10 percent sometime later this year. Talk about your mixed messages.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the two positions don’t contradict each other.

“I would describe the report that came out today as the least bad report that we’ve had in a year,” Gibbs said. “But we still have a long way to go.”

Just in case anyone has missed it, and isn’t sure where I stand on certain issues, let me clear it up a bit. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs is a blathering moron! You can report me to [email protected] if you like. Just sayin’…

The Reich (The Obama Nation) wants you to do your duty and report any dissent. So, do your duty. Report me. You see, I am firmly convinced that the inmates are now running the asylum.

The Dems and Libbers are in full and total control of Washington, D.C., and the RINO defectors that are siding with the Dems and Libbers only assure that this nation, and our citizens, are going to be subjected to the wishes of The Fuhrer (Obama), his Chief of Staff, Joseph Goebbels (Rahm Emanuel) and his Minister of Propaganda and Disinformation (Robert Gibbs).

Even so, Obama said: “We have a lot further to go. As far as I’m concerned, we will not have a true recovery until we stop losing jobs.” He also said he won’t rest until “every American that is looking for a job can find one.”

But Mein Fuhrer, please, forgive me for asking, but how can we ever have a full recovery with The Reich spending the Treasury into bankruptcy? The people are broke Mein Fuhrer, we are taxed and strapped to the maximum, we have nothing else to give. How can giving away money that is needed by Americans get us out of this dastardly recession Mein Fuhrer?

Excuse me Mein Fuhrer, but wouldn’t the American jobs market be better served if we had American industry in place, and not suffering from the dreaded outsourcing? Would it not expedite our recovery if we were truly energy INDEPENDENT?

Surely you are aware Mein Fuhrer? We, the United States, have more oil and gas reserves than all of the world combined?
