AG Holder orders protection in wake of doctor slaying

WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Eric Holder has ordered increased security for a host of unnamed individuals and facilities in the wake of the slaying of abortion Dr. George Tiller.

Jeff Carter, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service, confirmed Holder’s move early Monday. Carter said the Judicial Security Division “is establishing protection details at this time.”

There have been increasing incidents of attacks or threats against judges and other public figures in recent years. Carter’s statement described agency personnel as “experts at providing personal protection and facility security, and we are committed to successfully executing this task.” He said agency policy prohibits him from disclosing the subjects of the increased federal protection.

AG Holder orders protection in wake of doctor slaying

We see where the Obama administration stands on abortion I suppose, protect the abortionists! Who is going to protect the little ones? The innocent babies that can’t protect themselves? This is a pic of a 12 week sonogram, I defy ANYONE to tell me that this isn’t a HUMAN life, at 12 weeks, 3 months, NOT late term, this is the end of the 1st trimester.

My daughter and my daughter in law are both pregnant, I have already seen the sonogram of one baby, and am thrilled beyond words. To deliberately abort this baby is MURDER, by ANY definition.

Before some leftard moonbat comes in here calling me a right wing religious zealot, this must be said, I am NOT a very religious person, not at all, I haven’t been for many years, for my own personal reasons. This is not a religious thing for me, not as much as it is a reality of life. I have seen my own children move in the womb, I have felt my children move in the womb, I talked to my children when they were still in the womb, and they responded to my voice. They all 3 came out knowing who *Daddy* was.

I have NO respect nor use for anyone that would MURDER a baby, and I have even less respect for ANY that would protect those that do. YES, that does mean I have NO respect of, nor use for Obama and ANYONE in that travesty of an administration that would protect these MURDERERS. I hold these same feelings for ANY that support the Obamanation and his Obamites! The battle lines are being drawn and OUR tax dollars are being used to protect the abortionists of this nation, Eric Holder is making sure of that!

I don’t condone ANY act of murder, but I do NOT mourn the death of those that have willfully murdered thousands upon thousands of unborn babies! It’s all about the method of removal, and while it’s not right to murder the abortionists, is there not some poetic justice involved? Stopping one to save the many?

I think it’s ironic that Tiller was killed in his “church.” Perhaps this incident will bring to light just how far to the left many denominations have turned. I understand that the “church” lowered it’s flag to half staff in his honor. I wonder just how many times the flag was lowered for the babies that Tiller killed???

I disagree with you Fred about that doctor’s church. If any one needed to return to God’s loving arms, he did. Christianity is about forgiveness, not revenge. I applaud that church for accepting the sinner. And feel his murder does nothing to truly help the unborn.

    And this is my response…

I have heard all that *hate the sin, love the sinner* bullshit I can stand… Forgiveness is one thing, this son of a bitch, AND his church, are nothing more than duplicitous hypocrites… Forgive the sinner and the sinner goes forth to sin no more?? Great…

This son of a bitch went to church on Sunday and back to his murderous abortion clinic on Monday…

Screw him and ANY so-called Christians that carry on in this manner, they are, quite simply, hypocrites…

    Hear, Hear Fred!
I so often hear this sentiment of “Love the sinner, hate the sin” with a complete disregard for the damage and pain that the sinner continues to cause. It is not love to allow someone to continue their destructive or even self-destructive behavior. Yes Christ did say “your sins are forgive”, but what so many neglect to recall is that he followed it immediately with “Go, and sin no more”.
You can forgive someone of anything, but you should not allow them to continue causing destruction and pain.
I wish that Tiller would have had a conversion of heart and so saved himself and those that he leads astray. This murder will undermine the efforts of those who seek to protect the unborn, so it is regrettable but at least he will not be killing anymore babies.

I’ve read your blog for some time now, Fred, and I understand the animus that comes with you and religion; I myself am little enthralled with any organized religion and hold that beliefs are best left quiet and kept within the individual, displayed by DEEDS and not simply words. Good, religious people let their actions speak simply.

That said, allow me to point this out as well: that decision from Mr Holder, the same Mr Holder who decided that the Black Panthers were completely innocent in their Philadelphia voter intimidation case — which was replete with video and direct testimonial evidence, in which the Panthers intimidated with nightsticks. Case dismissed.

Right is wrong and wrong is right. Everything is in the process of being turned completely upside down.

One can afford to “turn the other cheek” when one has the luxury of knowing the abuse stops at that aforementioned cheek — and not with death.

I am telling you, Fred, I see naught but some kind of violence looming some time in our future and I do not believe it will be short nor do I believe it will be easily mendable.

Ya know, it has always been my observation that *turning the cheek* only results in 2 sore cheeks…

    Violence looming?? Indeed!

Dr. George Tiller was a monster who destroyed the lives of, it has been said, as many as 60,000 children. I hold no sympathy for him or his family. I do not agree with those who are placing blame for his death on right to life proponents, as we do not know at this time why his murderer did the deed; perhaps he had been grieving for a lost grandchild, and finally snapped. As for church leaders and members who defend such as Tiller, I recommend the book Preaching Eugenics, by Christine Rogen. She tells how Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish leaders have long been involved with the “science” of eugenics and population control. Very thought provoking; she makes one wonder if our society is too far down the road to perdition to recover.

Fred, I stand for those whose screams are unheard. Abortionists and those who approve or condone abortion are ghouls. The Bible tells of a sect that burned/sacrificed their babies on the altar of their God, Baal. Our country has a political party that worships at the altar of Baal. Abortion is THE foundation of the Democrat Party, thus they are the sect of Baal.

Fred, this is my first time comment on your site.
I agree with ALL of your statements on the abortionist, who was shot in his so-called “church”.
And, I am also in agreement with all of those, who left approving comments on this subject also.
Great to find someone, who expresses so many of the same thoughts and beliefs, which I share.

Congrats on the Grandchildren Fred! I hope The wife and I have quite a few more years before we get ours (the boy turns 13 on the 4th of July), but seeing how American society has slid so far downhill, we aren’t holding our breath. We’ll see if the power of the values we instilled in him hold up to the onslaught of the Obamanation.
