A Testament to the Power of Prayer

A Testament to the Power of Prayer

My new grandson, Carson Ambrose. He doesn’t look like a preemie in the pics but he’s about 2.6 pounds right now.

Good news, he cries, really LOUD, his lungs are great!! He is on a tube feed for now but he is digesting his food and making poop.

That may be TMI for some folks, but it IS great news, Mom’s will understand, he is fully formed, he just too early, and he still looks good. If he had gone full term we could have taken him fishing!!

The latest word I have at this time, HE is stable, they are bringing Lisa out of the induced coma and she is holding her own, her oxygen sats are at 100% even though they have cut her flow.

Now they are weening her off of the drugs that put her in the induced coma, but she is, as I am told, *stable*.

Thank ALL of you for the prayers… Sometimes, thank you just isn’t enough, but my most sincere thanks to ALL of you!

Glad to hear he is doing well. I’ve been mostly a lurker on your blog, but I had to log in and say congrats on your grandson and let you know that I’ll be keeping him and Lisa in my prayers.

    Texas Fred,
That is a fine looking little one. Congratulations and Prayers to you and yours. If Carson had a hat he’d look just like you!
Babies are a beautiful gift from our Lord, so are Grandpa’s.
Many thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Congratulations! He looks like a fine boy. Don’t worry about him being a Premie, he will do just fine. We Premies do remarkable things.

I will continue to pray for his and his mother’s full recovery.

Oh Fred I had no idea!

I am glad that both Carson and his mother are doing better.

Give God ALL the glory and praise, for He is righteous and most high.

He is beautiful, and though I am not a mother as of right now I do know the important of infants making poop. It makes mother’s and Godmothers (me) PROUD!

I will start praying and continue to pray for their recovery and strength.

God is good! Bless Him. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, lift His name on high.

God bless you Fred and your family.
