Mexican soldiers cross into U.S. chasing U.S. citizens

El Paso, Texas - A Mexican Army Humvee with a machine gun and several soldiers on foot entered into the U.S. through the Columbus Port of Entry early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at about 2:35 a.m. Saturday when the Mexican soldiers were chasing three U.S. citizens, according to Customs and Border Patrol spokesperson Roger Maier.

The group of soldiers was confronted by CBP inspectors and the soldiers quickly turned around on orders from one of their officers.

A few minutes later, a Mexican Army commander arrived and apologized to the U.S. inspectors, claiming the soldiers had been pursuing a car that ran one of their checkpoints just south of the border.

The three U.S. citizens and their vehicle were inspected by CBP and the trio was allowed to continue into the US.

I have NO idea why American citizens were in Mexico at that time of night. Well, actually, that’s not an entirely true statement. I do have an idea, but I will not engage in speculation.

I do need to ask though, WHY hasn’t this story been seen in the MSM?

The main focus of MY post is about the dangers of going to Mexico, living along the Mexican border and the threats faced by Americans here in the USA, from Mexican drug dealers, and the Mexican army itself.

The U.S. State Department issued a travel advisory for Americans who visit Mexico, citing Ciudad Juarez as a hotbed of criminal activity. A large Mexican metropolis in Chihuahua State bordering El Paso, Texas, Juarez is Mexico’s deadliest narcotics-war zone with two criminal gangs fighting for power – over city streets and drug-smuggling routes into the United States. SOURCE

For most people, that above notice would be all it took, a word to the wise, so to speak.

Apparently, wise is something that a lot of Americans are not. If they were, they wouldn’t be going to Mexico, and there would be a massive cry to secure the border.

“A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation” — Ronald Reagan

It may already be too late. Our borders are a moot point at this time, the infiltration has already taken place. We may very well be compromised by the enemy within! Even the great Ronald Reagan screwed the pooch on the ILLEGALS and amnesty issue.

The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), also Simpson-Mazzoli Act (Pub.L. 99-603, 100 Stat. 3359, signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986) is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law. The Act made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegal immigrants (immigrants who do not possess lawful work authorization), required employers to attest to their employees’ immigration status, and granted amnesty to certain illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously. The Act also granted a path towards legalization to certain agricultural seasonal workers and immigrants who had been continuously and illegally present in the United States since January 1, 1982. SOURCE

Barack Hussein Obama, while doing little, if anything, to stop that very infiltration, is NOT the sole party responsible for it. The last time a U.S. President took a stand on ILLEGALS and border issues was during the administration of Dwight D. Eisenhower with the inception of Operation Wetback!

Operation Wetback was a 1954 operation by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to remove about one million illegal immigrants from the southwestern United States, focusing on Mexican nationals. SOURCE

The problem with an Operation Wetback today would be that we have far too many apathetic Americans that think you’re a racist simply for using the word wetback! Not to mention the fact that it appears that the long arm of the Mexican criminals now extends to our own Border Patrol and possibly into our own U.S. Army.

The man accused of setting up a hit on a Juárez drug cartel member who was an informant for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was himself an informant for the same agency, El Paso police revealed Tuesday.

The fatal shooting of Jose Daniel Gonzalez-Galeana last May outside his East Side home was retribution for the arrest of Pedro “El Tigre? Sanchez, a reputed high-ranking cartel leader caught by the Mexican army last year, detectives said.

“This was a payback situation and not something like an ongoing type of battle like you see in Mexico right now,? Police Chief Greg Allen said.

Three men, including a Fort Bliss soldier, arrested late Monday remained jailed Tuesday in lieu of $1 million bond on capital murder charges. More arrests are possible. SOURCE

The full story from the El Paso Times has slipped off into the land of archives, if you want to search for it, there is a link.

This is only a sampling of the violence on our border with Mexico. BOTH sides of the border. And as I write this, our borders are still, for the most part, as porous as a sieve. Anyone wanting to enter this nation, for any purpose, simply has to walk across the border at an unsecured location.

That would encompass approximately 95% of the U.S.-Mexican border.

My question is this, given the level of corruption and violence in Mexico, given the close proximity to our nation of that corruption and violence, given the dangers faced by Americans living in the area of the U.S.-Mexican border, as well as the danger of TERROR attacks faced by ALL Americans because of this lack of border security, WHY are we not ALL up in arms?

Why are we not demanding that our borders be secured and ALL ILLEGALS, from ALL nations, be rounded up and deported?

I believe it’s a fair question, and I believe the justification is well outlined in this post!

I agree…something needs to be done…and Yesterday is not soon enough.

If Obama wants to ” Create Jobs ” and put that Stimulus Money to good use….how about hiring a lot of us to make up a Task Force…. ‘ Wetback Roundup Wranglers ‘…that would goes across this country rounding up all illegal immigrants ( no matter which country they came from ) and ship them out. That same Task Force could also have an armed unit to patrol our borders and repel anyone trying to get in.

Once this has been done it will also create a lot of jobs to fill those positions held by the illegals. The way I see it…it’s a win win for everyone. Obama creates jobs…and our unemployed get jobs….I know…FAT CHANCE that will ever happen.

I think we should have soldiers patrolling our side of the border too. The Border Patrol does a fantastic job but they’re to few in numbers to be effective.

Fred, this is way off topic but I think you and your readers will enjoy a happy ending. I do feel bad for the woman though.

    Hey!
This gives me a great idea!
If we can repeat the incident, only this time have a small unit armed with Hellfire Missiles, perhaps we could dissuade further border encroachments, what do you guys think?

  6. comment number 6 by: TexasFred

Gawfer, actually, I think we need to wait until we have a high wind blowing out of the north, and then NUKE the border, thus letting the radiation spread south..

    Just sayin’…

Our border patrol can only do the job that they are “allowed” to do, that has been handed down from the DHS dyke Napolitano. Just like our troops have been hog tied, so is our border patrol, sheriffs, etc..

I don’t know who they think they’re shittin but it’s pretty obvious & plain that all they are after is VOTES. I say the best thing next to murdering the bastards is finding out what their agenda’s are before voting for the scum, and make sure they don’t get elected. That old saying rings ever true…A mighty oak starts from a little acorn.

Well A scumassed politician starts from someone running for city council. Start checking the bastards out and just what they stand for then, NOT after they become governor.

Any Mexican border town or city has absolutely NO REDEEMING VALUE, in today’s life.
Once, many years back, it was fun to visit, eat, buy things.
But today, all these towns and cities are run by the drug cartels, and they only want one thing,,,to safely bring their dope into the USA, and take back the money to Mexico.
Any means necessary to do this, well it is a business decision to them, nothing personal.
So, just stay the hell away from any border town or city.
    This means Matamoros to Tijuana.

There are many towns in Texas with a true ethnic flavor, so go visit them.
But this is only my sincere opinion, youre’s may vary.
    Que la vaya bien,,,,,,,,

Incursions by bandits would be one thing, but incursions by Mexican troops thats another. Sounds like we need another “Blackjack” Persing and a president with balls enough to cut him loose.

mrchuck, I’ve never had any use for border towns, just full of ho’s and hustlers. The interior use to be another story, but I suspect thats changed now. Hell you can’t get there anyway.

This happen years ago. My brother and some other In-Laws were dove hunting at a ranch near El Paso. On one of those mid afternoons when everyone was back at camp resting in the shade….6 men ( Mexican ) dressed in camo and carrying machine guns came into their camp. They had crossed the river ( which was way down that year ) and approached them asking for water. It scared them so bad they gave them water and some food they had in fear if they didn’t…they might all be killed. They asked if they were Federales ( sp? )…but no one said anything…so they didn’t know if they were good guys are drug cartel. A few of my brother’s friend hid and were armed with shotguns…which would have been no match against their machine guns…but they figured they could take out a couple of them if the shooting started.
They reported it to the local sheriff, but he didn’t do anything.
I’ve read other reports over the years that Mexican troops cross our border all the time…and only once did the Border Patrol take them into custody and take their weapons away. All that could have been an act of war with invading armed troops crossing our border…but nothing was ever done.
As far as those 3 guys crossing the border from Mexico into the US and them being questioned and released….they should have been taken to jail for illegally crossing the border at the wrong place. I can bet they were up to something bad…if nothing more than testing the responding troops and Border patrol.

This… Sounds interesting, in the least… Fred will not speculate. And that is all fine and good. But I will.

*places my custom built tin foil hat” on…

Scenario one: The Mexican Troops were actually the few, the proud, and the brave of Mexico! Chasing evil drug and gun running Norte Americanos with the goal of taking them into custody, and having them face true justice!

Scenario two: Mexican drug troopers chase a group of Norte Americanos with the goal of holding them hostage, and making a few extra pesos. After all, they wanted to eat real Mexican food!

Scenario three: Basti picked up the Senatah. They bypassed both Fred and Patrick. Then set up a false flag operation with the apparent goal (s) of drawing the attention, in the form, as well as manner that drew attention in a manner that they desired…

Fred and Patrick however, are off in a none to well scene, watching. Patrick flips a golden coin ( His retirement) as Fred watches them pull this off through the sights of the pistol that Patrick recommended lo those many years ago…

    Cast your vote now!

Fred, pass me a beer please as we watch?

    Yep.

My dearest friend in all the world lives in Austin, Texas. Over the past few decades, she has constantly complained about wetback infiltration.

BHO doesn’t give a damn about protecting our nation’s sovereignty — in any way. Right now, he’s in Copenhagen undermining America’s sovereignty.

Interesting information about Eisenhower and Operation Wetback — something rarely included in history books today.

Illegals are foreign invaders and should be dealt with as such.
The hammerheads in DC don’t give two shits about it so what can we do?
If we enforce the law as PF citizens we’d be vilified or labeled white supremacists or some other PC nonsense and likely arrested.

Don’t we have the right under our Constitution to protect this country from foreign invaders? The damn government is supposed to protect American citizens. That’s their primary purpose. Instead they want to play silly assed deadly games, take our tax dollars and spend it like a whore on a shopping spree and tell us all they’re in charge. Screw them.

Maybe I’m just getting old and way too cynical but if the govmint fails it’s citizens then perhaps it’s time for citizens to take the bull by the horns.
