Obama would curtail summer vacation

Obama would curtail summer vacation

WASHINGTON - Students beware: The summer vacation you just enjoyed could be sharply curtailed if President Barack Obama gets his way.

Obama says American kids spend too little time in school, putting them at a disadvantage with other students around the globe.

“Now, I know longer school days and school years are not wildly popular ideas,” the president said earlier this year. “Not with Malia and Sasha, not in my family, and probably not in yours. But the challenges of a new century demand more time in the classroom.”

Of course Das Furher wants the children in school for longer periods of time. It gives his evil minions that much more time to brainwash them!

Texas panel reviews ruling that led to execution

Texas panel reviews ruling that led to execution

CORSICANA, Texas (AP) - More than five years after his final act from the Texas death chamber gurney was a profanity-filled tirade, the murder case of executed inmate Cameron Todd Willingham refuses to die.

Willingham was executed in February 2004 - proclaiming his innocence and hoping aloud that his wife would “rot in hell” - for the deaths of his three young daughters in a fire at their Corsicana home on Dec. 23, 1991.

An arson finding by investigators was key to his conviction in the circumstantial case.

The Innocence Project, a nonprofit legal organization that investigates possible wrongful convictions, questioned Willingham’s guilt. Now the Texas Forensic Science Commission will review a report Friday from an expert it hired who concluded the original arson determination was faulty.

The prosecutor in the case still believes Willingham is guilty, but acknowledges it would have been hard to win a death sentence without the arson finding.

Yesterday, a whiny little libber twat calling himself Ian, tried to engage me in a debate on this story, via email, based solely on the information found posted in the Dallas Morning News. I told Ian, in a one line email response to his tirade against Texas Governor Rick Perry, “Well, everyone has their own opinion”, and I left it at that.

Ian sent back another email calling me a *chicken shit* for not engaging him, and entertaining him while his Mommie was at the truck stop turning tricks.

OK Ian, I have taken time and thought about it, and here’s all I have to say regarding this matter, and by the way, your emails are still blocked, I KNOW that you’re still reading the blog and just to make it fair, I don’t want you to say you weren’t told before hand, you will NEVER have a comment show on this blog. Yes, you really ARE that irrelevant.

The 1st this I have to say is, this is NOT a case that I am, or ever was personally involved in, nor is it one I am particularly interested by. The guy is dead, he was executed, and that, as they say, is that.

Yes, Gov. Perry is guilty of not stopping the execution. He was NOT privy to this latest information at the time of the execution. Our Governor is NOT in the habit of over-ruling the Texas legal system, that is NOT his job, unless there is indisputable evidence to mandate his intercession. In this particular case, at the time of the execution, there was NOT!

He uses the CURRENT information he has at hand, then he makes a decision. That doesn’t make Perry wrong OR right, it makes him the man that is faced with a decision based on the findings of a court and the verdict of a jury.

John Jackson, the prosecutor in Navarro County, about 50 miles south of Dallas, says the original fire investigation was “undeniably flawed,” based on subsequent reviews, but remains confident Willingham was guilty of killing Amber, 2, and 1-year-old twins Karmon and Kameron.

“What people missed is that even though the arson report may be flawed, it certainly doesn’t mean it arrived at a faulty conclusion,” Jackson said.

Now Ian, I want you to pay very close attention here, I know it’s tough on you, with the diminished capacity you obviously have, but here’s the REAL deal Scooter; the original fire investigation was “undeniably flawed,” based on subsequent reviews’, do you get it now dimwit? Subsequent reviews.

Civil liberties groups: Police overreacted at G-20

Civil liberties groups: Police overreacted at G-20

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police used all the nonlethal tools at their disposal to thwart protesters at the Group of 20 summit this week, firing bean bags, hurling canisters of smoke and pepper spray, using flash-bang grenades and batons and deploying a high-tech sound-blasting device meant to push back crowds.

It was all a bit much for civil liberties groups and protesters.

They decried what they called a heavy-handed and unwarranted police response, saying riot officers focused on largely peaceful, if unsanctioned, demonstrations when they should have been paying more attention to small groups of vandals that smashed windows of city businesses.

“It’s not just intimidation, it’s disruption and in some cases outright prevention of peaceful protesters being able to get their message out,” said Witold “Vic” Walczak, legal director of the ACLU of Pennsylvania. “In a week when we need freedom of speech more than ever, free speech died in Pittsburgh this week.”

It’s a strange, strange world. The anarchists have a protest, and a march, and there is violence, arrests, property damage, people hurt and taken to the hospital, tons of taxpayer dollars spent to protect the city and it’s residents from these anarchists. And what do you get next? Civil liberties groups and liberal groups, whining and crying and generally making asses of themselves as they defend the *rights* of violent anarchists and condemn the police for doing the job they are intended to do.

In comparison, an estimate 1.2 MILLION people that are affiliated with The 9-12 Group and The American TEA Party marched on Washington, D.C. on September 12th and no one was arrested, there was NO violence, no property was destroyed and the federal government was NOT overthrown. Amazing isn’t it? That is the difference between PEACEFUL marches conducted by Conservative America and marches conducted by avowed anarchists.

Re-read the 1st paragraph of this story;

Police used all the nonlethal tools at their disposal to thwart protesters at the Group of 20 summit this week, firing bean bags, hurling canisters of smoke and pepper spray, using flash-bang grenades and batons and deploying a high-tech sound-blasting device meant to push back crowds.

I applaud the police in Pittsburgh for their professional handling of these anarchist MOBS. They *could* have used bullets and 00Buck shotgun shells instead of non-lethal dispersal methods.

Around the same time, a few blocks away, windows were smashed at some 10 businesses. Police made 42 arrests near the university, but it wasn’t clear if they caught any of the vandals.

Experts say that anarchists successfully deployed a tactic in Pittsburgh that they have often used at other protests, leading a large group of people toward police, then slipping out of the crowd to commit mayhem elsewhere.

That’s the ticket. Gather up a bunch of weak-minded, libber tree huggers, whip them into a frenzy and instruct them to MARCH! And be sure to make a lot of noise while doing so. Tell them that the police are their enemy and this is all about saving the world from the vile capitalists.

Then set your true anarchists loose within this deluded bunch of weak-minded moonbats and your true anarchists are free to roam, practically unnoticed, as they carry out their true mission of destruction.

Bin Laden warns of retaliation against Europe

September 25th, 2009 . by TexasFred

Bin Laden warns of retaliation against Europe

CAIRO (AP) - Osama bin Laden demanded that European countries pull their troops out of Afghanistan in a new audiotape Friday, warning of “retaliation” against them for their alliance with the United States in the war.

The al-Qaida leader denounced NATO airstrikes in Afghanistan that have killed civilians and warned that European countries would be held accountable alongside the Americans unless they pull out.

“A wise person would not waste his sons and money for a gang of criminals in Washington … In summary, we are not asking too much or an invalid demand, but it would be be fair that you lift your oppression and withdraw your troops,” bin Laden said, addressing the Europeans.

The audiotape, just under five minutes long, was posted Friday on Islamic militant Web sites. It comes after a series of al-Qaida videos this week directly addressing Germany, threatening attacks over that country’s involvement in Afghanistan. Those videos featured a little-known German-Algerian militant and have raised concerns among German authorities ahead of parliamentary elections.

Bin Laden warns of retaliation against Europe

Osama bin Laden. Some believe he is dead.

For a dead guy, he sure makes a lot of tapes that reference current world news, and gets them out to Islamic militant Web sites.

I have seen quite a few blogs over the last few years that have gone out on a limb and made statements that bordered on a guarantee that Obama’s bones were rotting in a cave in Tora Bora.

Maybe so, maybe not. The fact remains, dead or alive, Osama bin Laden is still the most well known Muslin boogie man in this fight. I know a great number of people blame George Bush, the CIA and the U.S. military for not actually getting bin Laden, and bringing him to justice, but the bin Laden rise to prominence was NOT the fault of George Bush.

Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir, hoping to have terrorism sanctions lifted, offered the arrest and extradition of bin Laden and “detailed intelligence data about the global networks constructed by Egypt’s Islamic Jihad, Iran’s Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas,” Ijaz writes in today’s edition of the liberal Los Angeles Times. Aide: Clinton Unleashed bin Laden

The above story is from 2001, and squarely places the initial failures to capture bin Laden on the shoulders of Bill Clinton. And I will take this one step further, and anyone that served in the military, or worked in the Intel services during the Clinton administration can verify my next statement.

Bill Clinton, and his dismantling of our military and Intel services, was the direct catalyst in the attacks of 9-11. And yes my few libber troll readers, I DO know that George Bush was the POTUS at the time of the attacks. Bush has taken the blame for all of the ills of this nation for far too long. The actions of Bill Clinton were the direct cause OF those attacks.

And I ask again, WHEN does this become Obama’s fault? When does he stand and say that he is in control? When does HE accept responsibility for the current situation the USA is in? Would he even consider that as a possibility? Actually saying that he now bears the responsibility for this nation, our people and the course we take?

The government booted the term ‘enemy combatants’ from the Washington vernacular, Obama and Company have changed the definition of terrorist attacks, now calling them ‘man-caused disasters’.

Barack Hussein Obama is the best friend that a terrorist like Osama bin Laden could ever have.

Osama bin Laden may or may not be alive, this may well be nothing more than a really good voice double, and being used to incite as much fear as he possibly can. It really doesn’t matter. Alive or dead, bin Laden has an ally in our current POTUS. Obama wants to use PCness to describe terrorists and their attacks. Obama wants to *sugar coat* the entire thing as he makes apologies to the entire world for OUR transgressions.

The libber left will not agree with this, and again, I don’t care, I don’t write to please the loons on the left. WE ARE AT WAR! There, I said it!
