List of Alleged Illegal Immigrants Mailed in Utah

Salt Lake City (AP) - A list containing the names and personal information of 1,300 people an anonymous group contends are illegal immigrants has been mailed around Utah, terrifying the state’s Hispanic community.

Republican Gov. Gary Herbert wrote in a tweet Tuesday that he has asked state agencies to investigate the list - sent anonymously to several media outlets, and law enforcement and state agencies. A letter accompanying the list demands that those on it be deported immediately.

Most of the names on the list are of Hispanic origin. The list also contains highly detailed personal information such as Social Security numbers, birth dates, workplaces, addresses and phone numbers. Names of children are included, along with due dates of pregnant women on the list.

There are many in this nation that will NOT accept the fact that We, The People, are at war. Our leadership in Washington, D.C. being first and foremost.

Arizona fired the 1st serious shot in this war with SB-1070, and now some 20 odd other states are in the process of filing and pushing through a similar law. To those states I say, KUDOS to you, your valiant lawmakers and Governors. I wish that we here in Texas had a Governor that was in possession of some serious MANHOOD, and Gov. Rick Perry, yes, I DO mean you.

Gov. Rick Perry said in a statement he released late Thursday that portions of Arizona’s tough immigration law concern him and that “it would not be the right direction for Texas.?

The governor did not say whether he would veto similar legislation. When asked about the controversial Arizona law earlier in the week, Perry, through a spokesman, simply called immigration policy a federal responsibility.

Perry against Arizona law for Texas

Rick Perry is a gutless politician and he’s running scared. Bill White has made serious inroads in his campaign for Texas Governor and Perry is not going to take a stand on ANYTHING that may cost him votes. We can only hope that once the election is over, Perry may rediscover his lost manhood and take the RIGHT side in this battle against ILLEGALS.

Texas Republicans, as a whole, are taking a hard stand on the ILLEGAL issue: Texas Republicans’ immigration reform stance may alienate Hispanics voters.

“My phone has been ringing nonstop since this morning with people finding out they’re on the list,” said Tony Yapias, former director of the Utah Office of Hispanic Affairs. “They’re feeling terrorized. They’re very scared.”

These ILLEGALS on the list are feeling terrorized? Well, that just makes MY day!

How do these people think We, The People are feeling as we watch the USA go down the drain because of our own government giving us away? Allowing the ILLEGALS to invade this nation? How do they think WE feel when we see crime statistics that are higher because of the felons that come to this nation to ply their trade?

Terrorized? I hope they are so terrorized that they make a run for the border, and I don’t mean to the local Taco Bell.

The list’s release comes as several conservative Utah lawmakers consider sponsoring a tough new illegal immigration law similar to the one passed recently in Arizona.

Arizona’s law, which takes effect July 29, directs police enforcing other laws to ask about a suspect’s immigration status if there is reason to believe the person is in the United States illegally.

The Socialist in Chief, and his stooge, Eric Holder, are trying their best to force Arizona to back off on SB-1070. They say it’s racist. They say it’s the duty of the federal government to enforce laws like this. On that last part, they are correct, it IS the duty of the federal government, BUT, the federal government hasn’t fully enforced immigration laws in years. The federal government has been totally remiss in their duty to We, The People!

Holder: US to watch Arizona for racial profiling

Holder: US to watch Arizona for racial profiling

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Justice Department hasn’t ruled out filing a second lawsuit challenging Arizona’s immigration law if evidence shows racial profiling at work, Attorney General Eric Holder says.

The Obama administration sued Arizona last week, arguing that the state is impinging on federal responsibilities for dealing with immigration. The state law requires police, while enforcing other laws, to question a person’s immigration status if there’s reasonable suspicion the person is in the country illegally. It also requires legal immigrants to carry their immigration documents.

The suit didn’t deal with concerns about racial profiling so that it could focus on the most serious problem with the law, Holder said in an interview broadcast Sunday on CBS’”Face the Nation.” In six months or a year, his department might look into the law’s impact on racial profiling, he said.

“If that was the case, we would have the tools and we would bring suit on that basis,” Holder said.

Holder: US to watch Arizona for racial profiling

So, the U.S. is going to be watching Arizona for instances of racial profiling? That makes me wonder, does Holder, Obama and the DOJ think Americans aren’t watching them? Do they really believe that their shenanigans have gone unnoticed?

Do they believe that dropping charges against the New Black Panthers, over what was, without a doubt, very serious acts of racism and voter intimidation have gone unnoticed?

My accusations of racism and voter intimidation are founded in the contents of the above video, and those accusations are irrefutable in MY opinion.

Armed thugs, spewing hate speech against WHITE people, thugs dressed in some sort of paramilitary garb, at least, I think it’s supposed to be paramilitary, truth be known they look like ghetto trash street thugs, but the very presence of those two cretins at a polling place is voter intimidation in the mind of any thinking individual.

The Obama administration wouldn’t admit that this was reverse racism, not if their lives depended on it. The fact of the matter is this, their POLITICAL lives DO depend on it!

The vast majority of Americans are standing in support of Arizona and Gov. Jan Brewer for the fearless efforts that she and her state are showing this nation. That support will resonate when we get to the November elections.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who defends the state immigration law as constitutional, said she believes federal officials would have included racial profiling in the suit if they thought it was an issue.

Gov. Brewer is very correct in that assumption I believe. If the DOJ, or it’s leader, Attorney General Eric Holder had ANY doubt, any thought that racial profiling was going to take place, they would be all over it.

Could Arizona’s Immigration Law Go National?

May 14th, 2010 . by TexasFred

Could Arizona’s Immigration Law Go National?

May 14, 2010 — Arizona injected new venom into the immigration debate in passing Senate Bill 1070 (SB 1070). Approved by state legislature and signed into law by Governor Jan Brewer, SB 1070 has the clear objective to increase enforcement against illegal immigrants in the state. As expected, the bill generated passionate responses across the political spectrum even before it was signed into law.

Even if lawsuits in federal courts prevent SB 1070 from being implemented, the problem still remains: Congress has dragged its feet on reforming immigration laws. Waiting much longer will only open opportunities for similar or new local efforts to curb illegal immigration. It will also allow public opinion to swell in favor of such laws and we might just see enough support to see SB 1070 “go national?.

Many public officials including President Obama were quick to criticize the new law. Within days, lawsuits were filed against SB 1070 by the National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders as well as two police officers, one each from Phoenix and Tucson. The federal government is eyeing the possibility of doing the same. Responding to public reaction, the Arizona legislature passed a new law within a week that will supersede SB 1070. This one attempts to reduce the probability of police using racial profiling as the basis of their investigations of a person’s legal status.

However, national polls show widespread support for SB 1070 with one showing that 51 percent of those surveyed considered that it is “about right” in its approach and 9 percent saying that it does not go far enough. Betraying Americans’ steadfast ambivalence on immigration, the same poll remarkably shows that 64 percent of those surveyed are in favor of allowing illegal immigrants to stay in the country either as guest workers or with the right to apply for citizenship. Another poll found that, in the days after the law was signed, more than three quarters of Americans had heard about it and, of those, 51 percent were in favor of it.

Not directing this AT the Brookings Institute, they are what they are, good or bad, they are the source of this post.

The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, D.C. One of Washington’s oldest think tanks, Brookings conducts research and education in the social sciences, primarily in economics, metropolitan policy, governance, foreign policy, and global economy and development.

Its stated mission is to “provide innovative and practical recommendations that advance three broad goals: strengthen American democracy; foster the economic and social welfare, security and opportunity of all Americans; and secure a more open, safe, prosperous, and cooperative international system.” SOURCE

I have to ask though, just how stupid do those on the LEFT think Americans are? What part of ILLEGAL do they NOT get?

This law, SB 1070, is considered by many legal scholars to be not only legal and proper, but to be constitutional as well.

SB 1070 takes federal law, interprets it into state statutes, actually makes the law a bit more strict, and then, even though it closely mimics FEDERAL law that the Feds are simply not enforcing, is called unconstitutional, racist, oppressive, and a law reminiscent of NAZI policies and tactics before and during WWII.

The people I see calling SB 1070 all of those things are the ILLEGALS themselves, their friends, families, supporters on the LEFT and the LIBBERS and RINOs in Washington, as well as a few state legislatures. In other words, for the most part, those that can, or could be, detained, and possibly be deported if found to be here ILLEGALLY, or some of their immediate family.

So, enforcement of THE LAW is now unconstitutional?

ILLEGALS shouldn’t be stopped? They shouldn’t be deported? Our borders shouldn’t be fully secured and these ILLEGALS kept OUT of the USA in general? ILLEGAL is now the new, and apparently believed to now be by some to be, legal and quite acceptable?

I have heard all this racial profiling and PC BS I can stand.

Racial profiling is a joke, it’s an excuse used by those that are here ILLEGALLY to deflect the eye of the public from their illegality in an attempt to stall deportation until such time that Obama and his Hate America 1st buddies can force some form of amnesty on this nation.

Racial profiling? All of the excuses just don’t hold water.
