The Direction of the TEA Party in America

Let’s take a look at the things the TEA Party stands for and at what they hope to accomplish.

*Uphold the U.S. Constitution*

The core values of the TEA Party are the same values upon which the United States of America was founded and are rooted in our belief in Natural Law. They derive from a belief in free will, the primacy of individual and personal responsibility. We will uphold and follow the original intent of the Constitution of the United States.

*Limited Government*

The purpose of our government is to protect our liberties by administering justice and ensuring our safety from threats arising inside or outside our country’s sovereign borders. When our government ventures beyond these functions and attempts to increase its power over the marketplace and the economic decisions of individuals, our liberties are diminished and the probability of corruption, internal strife, economic depression, and poverty increases. Our moral, political, and economic liberties are inherent, not gifts from the government. It is essential to the practice of these liberties that we be free from restriction over our peaceful political expression and free from excessive control over our economic choices. Limited Government simply means the federal government only deals with national issues and inter-state commerce and leaves other issues to the state and local governments.

*Fiscal Responsibility*

Fiscal Responsibility includes demanding a balanced budget, no earmarks or pork, no bailouts and no deficit spending except in a time of war when borrowed funds are only used to support the war.

*Free Markets*

The most powerful, proven instrument of material and social progress is the free market. The market economy, driven by the accumulated expressions of individual economic choices, is the only economic system that preserves and enhances individual liberty. Any other economic system, regardless of its intended pragmatic benefits, undermines our fundamental rights as free people. Free Markets is defined as “the simple process of supply and demand without artificial markets created by government intervention.”

Sounds simple enough, right?

Well sure it does, we ALL want what’s best for America, we all want to uphold the constitution, we all want limited government, we all want a government that is fiscally responsible and free markets make the world go ’round.

There’s no way to argue against ANY of those points, unless you’re an avowed communist, Marxist or socialist. I’m pretty sure they don’t want to see the USA run under those core values, they are, after all, against everything that communists, socialists and Marxists stand for.

So, let me ask my readers this question: You quite likely believe all of the above, otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading here now, so, how then, do we actually accomplish those goals? How do we achieve our CORE VALUES, our beliefs and desires for what we want America to be?

I have met a lot of great folks through the TEA Party, great patriots that have drive, dedication, ideas and a love of country that can’t be doubted. They want to change the direction that our nation is going, and that direction MUST be changed, otherwise, a FREE America will cease to be.

I have asked many in the TEA Party, why are you a member? And almost all have the same response, they want to take this nation back to our declared CORE VALUES.

SO, I’ve asked a few them, how do we do that? Here’s where it gets a bit confusing.

TEA: We have TEA Party meetings and get people interested.

ME: Yeah? Then what?

TEA: We vote for candidates that think like WE do, Conservatives that support the TEA Party.

ME: Great. How do we identify those candidates?

TEA: Uh….  We watch FOX News? They cover all the candidates.

Oh My!!!

Many have asked about the news that there may be “infiltrators�? at tea parties around the nation. A website Crash The Tea Party! was recently set up. The creator, though he tried to hide his identity, has been outed; his name is Jason Levin, and he’s a middle school teacher in Beaverton, Oregon. He’s on record saying that you might see some of his team in Nazi uniforms at your local tea party pretending to be racists and other offensive characters. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn’t it? And one has to ask the question; if tea partiers are racist, anti-Semitic homophobes, and it’s so obvious, why does he need to plant people who pretend to be those things at your tea parties? Ah…leftist logic and tactics…there is no way to understand their twisted thoughts. But you do need to know what the left is up to.

And by the way, if you’d like to let Mr. Levin’s school district know what you think of his behavior, and his potential influence on public school students in Beaverton, Oregon, you can contact them here. And you can reach the Principal at his school, Mr. Zan Hess, at this number: (503) 524-1345. If you choose to contact them, in direct contrast to Mr. Levin’s behavior, please be polite. Remember, just because he’s exposed himself publicly as a vile, indecent human being who will stoop to Nazi symbolism, and the promotion of racism and bigotry to silence those with whom he disagrees, doesn’t mean everyone in the school district is bad.

Tea partiers vow revenge over health overhaul

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – If you thought Tea Party activists were mad before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Instead of being discouraged by passage of health care reform, tea party activists across the country say the defeat is a rallying cry that makes them more focused than ever on voting out any lawmaker who supported the measure.

“We’re not going to stop. Obviously, the whole tea party movement started because we’re about smaller government and less spending and less taxes. There is absolutely no way we can pay for this,” said Denise Cattoni, state coordinator for Illinois Tea Party, an umbrella group for about 50 groups from around Illinois.

Cattoni says the health care defeat doesn’t deflate tea party activists. “We couldn’t stop it because of the shenanigans that went on in Washington,” Cattoni said. “People are definitely more driven today than they were yesterday without a doubt.”

A group of mostly Republican attorneys general were girding for a legal fight, filing a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court in Florida within moments of the landmark health care reforms being signed into law by President Barack Obama.

That’s what I’m talking about! TEA Party folks, getting LOUD and PROUD!

Not laying low, not hiding, but standing TALL and standing for America! Unafraid, courageous and undaunted. A political group that’s doing EXACTLY what it should be doing.

Within hours of its passage, conservative commentators Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh — darlings of the tea party movement — were venting their anger, vowing a bloodbath at the polls on Election Day.

“We need to defeat these bastards. We need to wipe them out,” Limbaugh said. “We need to chase them out of town. But we need to do more than that. We need to elect conservatives. If there are Republican primaries, elect conservatives and then defeat the Democrats — every last one of them — and then we start the repeal process.”

I am in total, 100% agreement with Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck on this. We WILL defeat these bastards, this group of un-American asshats have attacked the American people and usurped the constitution. The TEA Party either stands and fights or loses ALL credibility!

Tea party activists said they do not see passage of the reforms that usher in near-universal medical coverage as the end of the debate. Instead, they’re looking to push for its repeal on several fronts: in the courts and during this year’s elections.

So far, the nascent movement has almost reveled in its rebellious and grass roots nature and has avoided becoming as much a part of the establishment as the Republican and Democratic parties. But some tea party organizers see the health care debate as a galvanizing force that could stir its followers to greater action and something to rally around with midterm elections this year.

Sadly, there are some TEA Party leaders that are suggesting that members lay low for fear of their activities being monitored, their phones being tapped, their words being read.

Fear of being monitored? FEAR it? HELL NO, look forward to it, want it, encourage it, seek it at every opportunity!

But remember this: Always speak the truth. Speak intelligently. DO NOT make threats of violence or death against Obama or any members of the Congress or the Senate. Assemble LEGALLY, and peacefully. NEVER utter threats against any that oppose the TEA Party. Be an American PATRIOT in every sense of the word!

Be proud of this USA and all that She should stand for.

What actions have I enumerated in that paragraph indicates ANY reason, or need, to lay low or become secretive?

If I wanted to lay low and go unnoticed, I wouldn’t be putting my name and picture on this blog. I wouldn’t be making post after post denouncing the travesty that we are all seeing take place before our eyes. If I were afraid of government infiltration or observation I wouldn’t do so. I am NOT afraid of the U.S. government. Any that ARE afraid need to retire from the field of battle poste haste!

“There’s going to be a whole, all-out effort for an Election Day onslaught,” said Michael Caputo, a public relations consultant who works with tea party activists on the national level, as well as in Florida and New York. “The health care process has been an incendiary issue for the tea party organizations since Day 1. Losing that vote is going to inflame them more.”
