13 Mexican Students Killed After Armed Men Stormed Party

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Armed men stormed a party in this violent Mexican border city, killing 13 high school and college students in what witnesses said was an attack prompted by false in formation.

About two dozen teens and young adults were hospitalized after the late Saturday assault in Ciudad Juarez, a drug cartel-plagued city which is one of the deadliest in the world.

Grieving witnesses and family members told The Associated Press on Sunday they thought the victims, mostly residents of the housing complex where the attack occurred, had no ties to drug traffickers, .

“It must have been a huge mistake,” said Martha Lujan, who lives at the housing complex.

The young adults had gathered to watch a boxing match, Lujan said, when two trucks pulled up loaded with armed men who opened fire.

A huge mistake? So, what do you think the drug cartel people are going to do? Say “Oops, we’re so very sorry for killing 13 innocent kids, we’ll try not to let that happen again!”

Of course that’s not going to happen, and we all know it!

These drug cartel people are animals, and are engaged in a WAR with the Mexican government. They don’t care who they kill, be it man, woman or child.

Let me clear one thing up from my point of view, these people are innocent victims as long as they are in Mexico, and are going about their business and getting on with their lives.

I remember, very well, when I called for tight border security, and called for armed troops to be stationed on the border and called for them to use deadly force to stop the invasion of this nation by ILLEGALS. That idea has NOT changed.

You see, in Mexico, they are Mexican citizens, and innocent victims of violence in many cases, and I’m sorry that they suffer at the hands of the drug cartels and an incompetent government, but those are the breaks. If they want Mexico to change, they need to bring about that change from within Mexico itself, not by coming here to the USA ILLEGALLY!

Once they cross OUR border and enter this nation ILLEGALLY, they have become INVADERS, not immigrants. INVADERS! An immigrant is someone that comes here LEGALLY and works to become an AMERICAN. These INVADERS that cross our borders ILLEGALLY only come here to escape the violence of their nation, and in many cases, bring that violence and their violent way of life with them to OUR nation!

They leave their 3rd world dung heap, come to the USA because they claim that this is The Land of Opportunity and Freedom, and then try to turn the USA into a 3rd world dung heap, all the while, referring to themselves as Mexican-Americans!

Ciudad Juarez, a city of 1.3 million people just across the border from El Paso, Texas, is home to several drug cartel bosses who are battling for turf as thousands of troops and federal police try to stop them.

It’s only a matter of time before full scale gun battles break out on this side of the border. It’s only a matter of time until Mexican drug cartels turn El Paso, and many other American cities into the violent places they presently call home.

Our Governor has all but begged Washington to mobilize the Texas National Guard and allow them to secure our borders, but we don’t need to engage in a *catch and release* or an ignore and make them a citizen program. We need to stop this invasion at it’s source, the U.S. border! If armed troops is the necessary solution, then so be it! Our sovereignty must be maintained!

We do have an increased Border Patrol, Texas DPS and Ranger presence along the border, but they are spread thin, in many cases forced to work alone, covering some long and dangerous stretches of border with any thought of immediate backup just a dream!

Violence also rocked the oceanside Mexican community of Lazaro Cardenas overnight. Police in the southwestern city said that just after midnight Saturday, about 20 heavily armed gunmen riding in trucks with tinted windows attacked a police station with grenades and assault rifles, killing a police officer and two civilians — a mother and her son who had come to pay a fine.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, it’s only a matter of time my friends! It WILL happen here.

Make no mistake about it, we face a tremendous threat from Islamic terrorist that are already in place right here in America. We also face a tremendous threat from the drug cartels, Mexican and South American, that are already here!

And for the most part, our southern border is still a sieve…

Cops down here had a bailout near Driscoll the other night. 22 illegals were sighted; they caught 12 so far. This happens once or twice a week in the Corpus Christi area. Is easy to imagine how many are not being caught. The boarder is truly a seive and the Feds have no intention of stopping the flow. If Rick Perry and the State of Texas want to control the boarder; it will have to be done from within. State should let the boarder sheriffs form posses to patrol the boarder with orders to shoot on site anyone crossing illegally. Could be funded by taxing the sanctuary cities like Houston into submission as well as cutting off all state funding.

The Texas Ranger presence along the border is EXTREMELY THIN.

The reason is that there are ONLY 144 sworn Rangers in the Whole State of Texas. Only 144 of them. So, how many of them are down on the border full time?? Very few! Sounds potent, but it is a laugh. Our only hope to increase “boots on the ground” is to order the Texas National Guard to go down and close down the border.

Or get the negro president of the USA to order the National Guard there.
    And that will not happen.

Maybe Debra Medina being elected Governor would help, but forget about it from Perry or Hutchinson.

I know El Paso. A real shit-hole today.

It was really nice 40 years ago. But today, it is one of the most dangerous cities in the USA.

I refused a transfer of duty station there ten year’s ago.

I drove thru it last October 2009, and it is the home of many of the Mexican drug Mafia, that are allowed to travel into the USA. If you live there now, better be prepared for combat action on your front lawn!

Mr. Chuck, I lived in El Paso 25-30 years ago, and it was starting to change when we came back to this side of Texas in 1988 or so…

People that deny there is a border problem, an ILLEGALS problem or are too damned stupid to see the solution are either terribly ignorant or have never been to El Paso, or any other border city…

I can take them on an all night ride along Border Hwy and I promise you, by the end of 1 night, the SOBs will be ready to order the entire U.S. Army to the border…

Fred, you KNOW it’s gonna happen here. It’s inevitable.

When it does, this bunch of do nothings will just use the excuse that the violent killings are just the results of the drug cartels buying their weapons from American gun shows. I still say, let the states arm their own borders and refrain from sending the amount it costs to the scum in charge. That should gain their attention REAL quick. I think it’s getting time for the states, especially the border states to tell the federal scum to just “FUCK OFF” we’ll handle it without you. Then, find Sheriff Joe and put him in charge and back him to the hilt.

It’s SO TRUE - all of it and the comments! Even “way out here” in Nevada - NOT a border state - our illegals are a horrid problem.

There’s gonna be a revolution - likely no other way to solve it. Can’t talk to “these folks” - in “charge”.

You are right its only a matter of time before a full blown incident occurs on our side of the border. But these illegals in this country have already brought the violence of Mexico into this country. About 20 years ago I lived in a small CA town in the valley, Porterville and had a good friend a native of that state whose family had deep roots going back to the gold rush days. Arlen pointed out a simple fact to me when I lived there—-most of the violence in his once peaceful valley was caused by the mexican nationals moving into that region from Mexico—robberies, rapes, and murders. He said everytime he picked up the paper the last names of the criminals told the story—this was 20 years ago and my friend was mad as hell then. I shutter to think what its like there now.

I honestly don’t care either, it’s an after effect of the crap nation that Mexico has become.

I don’t want to see los bastardos in los Estados Unidos, none of them…

    Shoot NORTHBOUND crossers DEAD!

The Federal Government isn’t going to do a thing to protect our borders. Under Bush they prosecuted border guards who actually defended our country from drug smuggling illegals. Obama won’t be any different.

I always thought the Governor could mobilize their states National Guard? At one time they called the Guard the State Militia and it was called that for a reason. It seems that in the past 20 years or so, the states lost more and more control over their Militias.

  14. comment number 14 by: TexasFred

They still can call out the Guard Bob..

It’s just a question of Federal orders or State orders, and the Governors want the Fed to pay for it, and honestly, I think they should..

All the Fed needs to do is defend the nation and basically leave us the hell alone anyway…

While saddened by the killings of innocents in Mexico, I am more angered by the larger number of killings and crimes committed by illegal aliens North of the Mexican border in the United States.

And that is not considering the high cost we are paying in our tax dollars to subsidized benefits for these illegals. In fact, we are now borrowing against our kids futures to cover these costs.

If we quit speaking out - we will have no voice in the future on this issue!
