Debra Medina is a 9-11 Truther

This is not just MY opinion, Medina was on the Glenn Beck radio program this morning and she committed political suicide in MY opinion. As Glenn said, “The fastest way back to 4%“. If you don’t know, 4% is where Medina was polling before her modest showing in the Texas GOP Debates. She quite likely will see that 4% again soon.

And it’s NOT just me that feels this way about Medina. Do you want to hear what a few other Texas Conservatives think about her?

First there’s this from Houston blogger TexasSparkle:

I just heard Debra Medina on the Glenn Beck radio show, and she really messed up badly. Glenn Beck said that people had accused her of being a 9-11 truther. Beck asked her straight up if she thought the government was in any way involved in 9-11 and the towers coming down.

She would not deny it. I expected her to say, “absolutely not. It’s absurd.” But she didn’t. She said that she didn’t have enough information and that there was a lot of things we don’t know.

Oh my. This is bad. I did have a great deal of respect for her. But she just lost me. SOURCE

Here is the take on Medina from another fine Texas Conservative.

At the beginning of the Medina for Governor movement, I was honestly looking at her and her ideas because people were talking about how real conservative she was. At first, it was just an interesting read…but as I looked behind the curtain, it was less interesting and much more scary.

In 2006, Hillary Clinton was a lock to be the Democratic Nominee and so no one took Barack Obama seriously – which means he was never vetted by the media. In fact, when you watch the movie Media Malpractice – you see a member of the main stream media admitting to this. We now have a very similar situation with Debra Medina – and her associations are just as dark as Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers were with Obama.

Early on in the Medina Movement, the followers would bring up the topic “Rick Perry is part of the Bilderberg Group and is working for a new world order�? topic with Perry supporters in hopes of getting them to switch. Now this obviously would open up anyones eyes and require them to do some research…because this is certainly not part of the mainstream. One of the leaders in this “Bilderberg�? conspiracy theories is Alex Jones. Calling Jones a “radio host�? by the followers is a stretch when you consider he has virtually no audience. His real audience, though, are those who believe in his nutty conspiracy theories – a main one being that 9/11 was an inside job of both George W. Bush and the Government. SOURCE

Fox’s Major Garrett gets interview with Obama

NEW YORK (AP) - President Barack Obama will give an interview to Fox News Channel’s Major Garrett, perhaps signaling a thaw in relations between the network and administration. The White House confirmed Tuesday that Garrett will be included among a round of network interviews that the president is giving Wednesday in Beijing. Garrett also posted news of the interview on Twitter.

Fox and the administration have been in a public fight since former White House communications director Anita Dunn said the network acted like the research or communications arm of the Republican Party. The president pointedly avoided Fox when he gave a round of interviews to Sunday shows about his health care plan.

Garrett, Fox’s senior White House correspondent and a CNN reporter before moving to Fox, will have 10 minutes with the president. Other network correspondents traveling with the president - Chip Reid of CBS, Chuck Todd of NBC and Ed Henry of CNN - will also get interviews. ABC gave up its slot when Jake Tapper spoke to Obama earlier.

It’s the first time Obama has spoken specifically to a Fox correspondent since he talked with Garrett in July. Obama gave one other interview to Fox as president, to Sunday morning host Chris Wallace in February.

Fox’s Major Garrett gets interview with Obama

I am fully convinced that the White House, and ALL of Barack Hussein Obama’s minions are so afraid of FOX News because they fear that FOX News could possibly topple the administration by exposing it for the crooked, anti-American regime it truly is.

They fear that if the truth comes out, Americans will see Obama for the weak poser and socialist that he is. They KNOW that FOX News isn’t giving them the free pass that the other major news organizations do.

The White House was annoyed by Fox’s aggressive coverage of protests against the president’s health care plan over the summer. Dunn’s comment that Fox is “more of a wing of the Republican Party” brought the administration’s displeasure into focus.

Since then, Dunn has left the job, which she said she was only doing on a temporary basis. Dan Pfeiffer has replaced her as White House communications director.

The White House was annoyed by the TRUTH! That is the sum total of ALL parts. The Obama administration can’t stand for the truth to be told. Truth has nothing to do with the way Obama wants to govern and truth has nothing to do with a socialist agenda.

Maybe FOX does lean to the right for the most part, most of the FOX News on-air people DO seem to be rather conservative, and that IS a good thing. Beck went after Van Jones, he posted a few stories on him, some quotes, and then Jones own words, and Van Jones quit his position within the Obama administration.

Next, Beck took on Anita Dunn, the former White House communications director. All Beck did was use Ms. Dunn’s own words, the words she spoke where she praised Mao Tse-Tung as being one of the biggest influences in her life. That is NOT exactly what you want to hear from anyone in a leadership position in the White House.

Mao’s policies and political purges from 1949 to 1975 are widely believed to have caused the deaths of between 50 to 70 million people. SOURCE

That’s the kind of leadership, and influence we most definitely don’t need in this nation, and I, for one, applaud Glenn beck for the effort he put forth and the obvious success he achieved!

And today, we hear this about the Obama policies regarding bailouts, ie: stimulus programs;

Here’s a stimulus success story: In Arizona’s 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that’s what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

There’s one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts. SOURCE

Why the White House attack on Fox is backfiring

There seems to be general agreement that the Obama White House’s campaign against Fox News is actually directed at other news organizations — to “get other journalists to think twice before following [Fox's] stories in their own coverage,�? according to an article in the Politico. Fox is beyond the pale, the White House is telling the press corps: You wouldn’t want to have anything to do with that, would you?

But the White House campaign appears to be backfiring. A number of mainstream journalists are reacting badly to the attempt to declare a journalistic organization off-limits. Why the negative reaction? Is it because of solidarity among reporters? A reflexive defense of freedom of the press? Secret sympathy for Fox?

None of the above. The real reason the White House campaign is backfiring is that it offends journalistic self-esteem.

Most mainstream reporters are already ignoring stories critical of the Obama administration that Fox plays up. They famously stayed away from the Van Jones story, and the ACORN story, too, for as long as possible. They were doing exactly what the White House wanted, but they believed they were doing it for sound journalistic reasons, not as the result of any bias, and certainly not as the result of any directive from the White House.

Why the White House attack on Fox is backfiring

Conservative, right-wing terrorist bloggers, such as myself, and a few others, stood against Obama and Company long before it was fashionable. We were Obama haters when being an Obama hater wasn’t cool. We were trend setters. And the MSM ignored us.

We stood against John McCain and his lame, RINO BS, and the MSM gave McCain a hard time. Imagine that!

We tried desperately to convince the American public that McCain was a loser, not just in the political arena, but in life as well. We tried to tell Americans that McCain was as big a wild card as Obama. At least with Obama, we knew EXACTLY what we were going to get. No one can say that about John McCain. The MSM pretty much repeated that line, because it was convenient, and it helped Obama along.

We tried to get the American voters to dump BOTH of these LOSERS and go with a real, solid, and proven Conservative. The MSM ignored that plea, we DARED to denigrate The Obamessiah.

We alienated many friends in doing so. But we were right, and NOW our friends see it too.

We have ALL touted the MSM as being the most in the tank group of people that has ever existed. Barack Hussein Obama is the President of the United States because he was, and for the most part, still is, the darling of the media.

The media has let Obama slide on many topics that they would have taken other presidents to task over. Obama has, at least until now, been given a FREE RIDE by the MSM.

Now, when the White House takes the too-obvious step of actually issuing them marching orders, they recoil. Such orders are an insult to their image of themselves as tough-but-fair journalists. Even if they were completely in the tank — remember when Obama told them, “Most of you covered me; all of you voted for me�? — their most cherished image of themselves is of savvy, straight-shooting reporters, not taken in by the spin and talking points of the officials they cover.

The anti-Fox campaign offends that sense of self-esteem in the clumsiest way possible. That’s why it’s backfiring.

The Mainstream Media, for the most part, has had the wool pulled over their eyes. Maybe, if we’re lucky, the efforts of people like Glenn Beck will come to fruition.

Maybe Obama and his minions can be FULLY exposed as the tyrants the truly seek to be. Maybe the MSM will pull it’s head OUT of the sand and get IN this fight.

It’s a 100% certainty that if they don’t, they will either be nothing more than a tool OF the Obama administration, his fully controlled propaganda machine, or, they can count on being seen as NEXT if FOX goes down because other media outlets didn’t support them, the 1st Amendment and the USA!
