Arizona beheading raises fears of drug violence

CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - The gruesome case of a man who was stabbed and beheaded in a suburban Phoenix apartment has police investigating whether the killing is potentially the most extreme example of Mexican drug cartel violence spilling over the border.

Martin Alejandro Cota-Monroy’s body was found Oct. 10 in a Chandler apartment - his severed head a couple feet away. One man suspected in the killing has been arrested, and a manhunt is under way for three others.

Detectives are focused on whether the men belong to a Mexican drug cartel, and they suspect that Cota-Monroy’s killing was punishment for stealing drugs. The brutal nature of the killing could be designed to send a message to others within the cartel.

“If it does turn out to be a drug cartel out of Mexico, typically that’s a message being sent,” said Chandler police Detective David Ramer. “This person was chosen to be executed. It sends a message to other people: If you cross us, this is what happens.”

Last night our local TEA Party met and we were asked to be thinking of the things we want most to impress upon our incoming lawmakers once the new Congress and Senate are seated.

Living in Texas, and it being a border state that is already inundated with ILLEGAL Hispanics, I am thinking that my biggest push for Washington will be border security, or lack there of, no amnesty in ANY way and the deportation of all ILLEGALS.

We already KNOW that Mexico is over-run by narco-terrorists, all you have to do is look at the news every day. Murders, beheadings, innocent people killed by the drug cartels for sometimes no other reason than simply refusing to work for the cartels.

Stories like these are becoming an almost daily occurrence: 15 Killed in Mexican Car Wash Massacre and this: A Mexico massacre in unfamiliar place: the capital

We KNOW that Mexican troops have crossed our borders, thus committing an INVASION against the sovereign borders of the USA and it’s citizens.

Fatal Arizona Home Invasion Sparks Fears of Mexican Military Involvement
MINUTEMEN RELEASE VIDEO OF MEXICAN ARMY INCURSION OF U.S. BORDER

Yet these incursions, INVASIONS, have yet to be met with military force, by Obama or his less than impressive predecessor, G.W. Bush. Our borders are still basically WIDE OPEN.

The Virtual border fence a $1 billion failure, and I would venture to say, that $1 BILLION price tag is probably a low-ball estimate.

Our nation is in great peril, this is the HOT story on the news networks as I write this post, Explosive found in Dubai, part of US terror. There are those that seek to attack us from all points of the compass.

Decapitations are a regular part of the drug war in Mexico as cartels fight over territory. Headless bodies have been hanged from bridges by their feet, severed heads have been sent to victims’ family members and government officials, and bags of up to 12 heads have been dropped off in high-profile locations.

More than 28,000 people have been killed in Mexico in drug-related violence since December 2006, when President Felipe Calderon deployed soldiers to battle the cartels in their strongholds.

That could very soon be the regular news story in the USA.

If the suspects in the Arizona case belong to a cartel, the crime could be the only known beheading in the U.S. carried out by a drug cartel, said Tony Payan, a political science professor at the University of Texas at El Paso who has done extensive research about border violence.

IF is one of the biggest words we use. IF the suspects are cartel members, IF the suspects are captured, IF the suspects are prosecuted, IF the suspects are still in the United States. That’s a lot of IF’s in my opinion.

“The cartels warring in Mexico have operatives in Phoenix, and it is possible they may go after each other in places like that,” he said, but added that cartels are very unlikely to target the general American population. “Our law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies have shown a high degree of competence. In Mexico, they’re nowhere near that level.”

Deportation flights cost $51 million

Deportation flights cost $51 million

TUCSON, Arizona - The U.S. government has spent more than $51 million over the past four summers flying nearly 64,000 illegal immigrants back to the Mexican interior after they were caught crossing the border.

The flights are aimed at reducing the chances of immigrants recrossing the border by flying them to Mexico City, rather than busing them back to the Mexican border where they are susceptible to smugglers awaiting them with offers to try again. Illegal immigrants from countries other than Mexico can’t take the flights.

But the Arizona Daily Star reported Sunday that critics said the program hasn’t made a substantial difference in lessening smuggling or the number of deaths that occur as immigrants sneak across the border.

In the 362 days the voluntary flights were offered during 2004-2007, the bodies of 342 illegal immigrants were discovered along Arizona’s stretch of the U.S-Mexico border — nearly one per day, southern Arizona medical examiners’ records show.

I have a simple solution, some folks don’t like the idea, some folks call it *hate speech*, some folks call it murder, personally, I call it self preservation.

Man the borders, do a roundup, don’t fly em anywhere, march em to the border and shew em back over the border, point em SOUTH and say “Adios mi amigo, lleve su asno y no se vuelva”, and if they DO comeback and try to cross the border again, SHOOT EM!

According to the story, these flights exist because we’re worried about the safety of these ILLEGAL INVADERS, worried about the safety of those that come here ILLEGALLY, and even if they don’t rob, rape, steal or become involved in drugs and gangs, they STILL place a tremendous strain on the economy and tax base of the American worker, the LEGAL American workers, the folks that keep this nation fed, funded and running.

U.S. officials consider it money well spent because it keeps those who take the flights safe.

“It saves the taxpayers money and addresses a very critical life-safety issue for individuals who are out in the desert in these very dangerous months,” Nantel said.

No, all this proves is that the USA is taking the welfare of ILLEGAL INVADERS more seriously than the personal safety and well-being of her own citizens.

That is NOT an acceptable proposition, not in MY opinion, but I guess it’s one that we’re going to have to learn to tolerate. Given the 2 asshats running for POTUS, the libtard left that supports everything that hurts the USA, and the self proclaimed Conservative bleeding hearts that think I’m a vile and radical extremist, we’re not going to have a lot of *other* choices.

Well, we DO have a couple of other choices, but I truly hate to contemplate the ramifications the implementation of those solutions would bring on all of us.

The last few days, seeing how things are happening in a border state other than Texas has not done one thing to change my mind, the invasion is everywhere, and ALL Americans are either suffering from it or are not too far from that point.

Some are a bit more insulated from it because of the *pricey* neighborhoods they live in, but that won’t stop the invasion for too much longer, the ILLEGALS will take what they want, and why not? The people that will let them take it are the ones that cry *but they’re only poor immigrants trying to better themselves*.

When the faux intellectuals and wannabe Conservatives wake up and find their new neighbors *tagging* their new barrio, the cries of shock and indignation will be raucous! And their efforts to protect themselves, and their insular lives, will be far too little and far too late.

Border Patrol Agents Face Massive Increase in Assaults

December 19th, 2007 . by TexasFred
SAN DIEGO - The U.S. Border Patrol says its agents have been assaulted 250 times along the Mexican border since Oct. 1, a number that represents a 38 percent increase from the same period last year.

Officials say the rising violence indicates smugglers are frustrated and more desperate as it has become more difficult to cross the border illegally. Agents have been attacked with rocks, vehicles and Molotov cocktails.

Criminals are discovering they can no longer operate with impunity in certain areas and are systematically being prevented from using the border for their criminal activitiesďż˝? Border Patrol Chief David Aguilar said in a news release.

The agency’s San Diego sector, which encompasses western California, reported the steepest increase. Assaults more than quadrupled to 110 from Oct. 1 through Sunday, up from 24 in the same period last year.

Correct me if I am wrong but if our agents are coming under attack from Mexicans, on the Mexican side of the border, isn’t that easily interpreted as an act of WAR??

It’s very good news that some of the routes have been shut down and that the smugglers and so forth are having a more difficult time, but when are we going to have leadership with the balls to say ENOUGH and tell the Mexican government, that’s it, one more time and we blow your GREASY asses to hell!

What’s it going to take before WE act, some of our Border Patrol agents getting killed by these criminals and ILLEGAL invaders??

I have several issues with George W. Bush that I am not happy about but this is my biggest one, and I do NOT bite my words in saying this, Bush is a wetback loving moron and is, without a doubt, the worst President of MY lifetime and I have seen a few losers too, and I mean worse than Clinton or Carter, and folks, that took some doing too.

Our Border Patrol officers are scared to do their job because Bush will have his buddy Johnny Sutton prosecute and imprison them for ANY action against the INVADERS that looks like it was less than PC, we have our Border Patrol attacked from across an international border, an act of WAR, and Bush sits on his ass and does NOTHING!

Mr. Bush, what are you, a coward, an idiot or do you really love the Mexicans that much?? And if you DO love the Mexicans that much, why in the hell don’t you resign and go live with your amigos you gutless bastard??

I don’t care WHO this pisses off, Bush is an idiot, we ran off to Iraq because Saddam made threats against Bush 41, and that IS the reason we went there, they didn’t attack us but we took our Army and went to Iraq because Bush 43 was pissed off at Saddam, but when Mexico actually ATTACKS us, Bush sits on his ass and does NOTHING, maybe we should have listened to the left a while back, the man needs to be removed from office, he is a DISGRACE to ALL legal and Conservative Americans.
